OMG that idea about focusing...

OMG that idea about focusing...fousing doesnt speed or slow time...it simply is a way to "focous" on what they are do in and everylittle thing around them making things seem slower because they see them much quicker...and i think that dude is just a program but its silly to make such prediction when we havent seen him for even a total of 20 seconds

Basically, focus mode just helps you aim better, do different combos, and lets you know if the enemy is going to attack in slow-mo.

focus is exactlywhat it says, they just focus on what they're doing but in a way that everything seems to go slower

focus is just plain cool looking no matter what it does

Yeah, It looks ace. Especially when you do the bullet-time moves and dodging.

he said 72 hours, not 24

yea focus is simply bullet time, although everything is going in slo mo the character is more aware of his surrounding so responds to things faster. i think that they should move this feature to more action games... makes it so much cooler and better. i love it when an attack goes perfectly thanks to focus.

I agree that it's good but disagree that more games should have it. It's not that cool. It would be lame if more games had it because it's shows that that's the only thing keeping the rating high. If its something different, then therefore it would be more exciting. Different is always better in terms of video games.

yea but mabe if it were put into a different context, slow mo in other games shouldnt hurt its originality from the matrix. and seriously, i dont think that an action 3rd person shooter/fighter would be all that good without a degree of bullet time. remember, focus or bullet time in video games was born from MAX PAYNE, not the matrix.

I know. But... Matrix suits it more. But like I said, more games should be different, instead of sharing the same feature.

yea but without focus or bullet time, some games would be so friggin lame... i have no objections with the use of it in other games, i would much rather that then anything else. how would a game make its own original version of bullet time anyway? its pretty general in all contexts. although you might not want it, you'll be seeing alot more of it.

Especially in that new Terminator 3 game. I like bullet time. But it will be boring if every game from now on has it.
