First of all I believe there wer no other One before Neo and said so I have some points I'd like to know your opinions:
1- Where does the code that Neo bring come from? And since when?
2- Who knew he is the One? I mean did matrix knows it when he was plugged?
3- How Morpheus knew he was the One? He said in M1 he tried with others and they failed, so he failed in choosing the right one before him. How did he know from matrix Mr.Anderson was one of the possible Ones?
4- What if he was the One but they did not unplugged him? (It seems that every time is up to the humans to unplug the right one not by the machines)
5- If Morpheus knew the story of the One and for that reason he was looking for him for the freedom of Zion and the human being he also had to know that instead saving all humans the One had to go to the mainframe and reset matrix (and this means save matrix) plus destroy completely Zion. That was the path of the other Ones if existed before. In this case Morpheus did a wrong thing.
6- How many "active" One there are at a time? (I mean with active that if Merovingian was a One before he is not a One anymore in the story)

I don't understand why people think that previous "ones" are still around, they where all human right? and isn't at least 100 years between anomalies? All previous anomalies should be dead of old age if not anything else.

Do you really think that someone that is bringing with him a code of a program is still 100% human?
And even if in matrix the code must be inside his brain so it would also be possible to completely code the brain and place it inside matrix in a program (Merovingian or others)
At this point of the story the body is not completely needed so everything could be possible

I believe that Neo came from another matrix, this matrix contains all the programs, just like the oracle, I think that Morpheus was just somehow controlled to find the one... neo.
From that point a circle starts, activating every other program, that will eventually lead to Zion's destruction, then the Matrix will start all over again, maybe Zion is just made to distract people from the truth, so the machines can eternally repeat the cycle to gain power from the enourmes battery, filled with humans, where would the machines be... without power?

I also think that when Neo thinks he makes the right desision, he automatically makes the wrong desision... because it was all pre-programmed in his program... something has to end the circle... it's just a theorie :$
