MIAM untrue says The Oracle

Last night I had a look at all the FMVs in the game in the hacking, and in the vid where Niobe meets The Oracle, she says something like "Neo reached the source and has separated his mind from his body. He is now trapped between the Matrix and the Real World."

So Neo is not in The Real World as such, but half in the Matrix as well. This explains why he can use his powers in the sewers at the end of M2.

I've always thought that when he merged with Agent Smith he in a way became part of smith just as smith became part of him.

And like smith is able to manipulate the matrix and be in the real world at the same time so can Neo be in the matrix through smith and in the real world. Hence he was able to shut down the sentinals by sending info through the matrix to the sentinals.
