m1 will be the best of the series.

To me it depends on the way you look at it.

M1 was the most sound movie, but there werent as many twists and turns and surprises.

M2, while slightly worse from a critic standpoint. Was much more exciting in my mind then M1.

To sum it up, M1 ended with too much of a good guy always prevails ending, while in M2, you think that theres gonna be a happy ending, but it gets blown in your face and leaves you hanging.

Both 10s in their own respects.

I think I'm going to like M2 and M3 the same.

I'm just patiently waiting for Revolutions to come out before I decide which one is the best.
Mitchell

I'm still not sure which one will be the best but I think Matrix Revolutions will be the best.

i think m1 had the best storyline. it made up a whole magnificent heap of interesting fantasy-sci-fi ideas, and had loads of action and cool special fx to boot. m2 has ****loads of action but no so much storyline.

m3 will probably be largely zion-based: a bunch of guys in sad old clothes battling squiddies. however, in the revolutions trailer that u get when u complete enter the matrix, theres some matrix-based stuff too.
so i assume it will probably be m3

The Matrix will always be the best of the three. Why?
-It's the first, it introduced us to the world of The Matrix.
-It was the first film that Bullet Time was introduced in. Special
effects so cutting edge make an impression that can't be
improved upon quickly enough for Revolutions to show us
anything new from a visual effects stand-point.

I'm looking forward to Revolutions because Producer Joel Silver refers to it as "the payoff," which makes me very curious. Most of the film, as i've read, takes place on scorched earth (meaning not in the matrix) and most of the climax is completely CG, but i'm okay with that. Revolutions is going to be the final film, which means we'll basically have all the information (from the film stand-point) that we're going to get, and i'm looking forward to having more pieces of the puzzle.

i hate to decide which one will end up being the best, but i'll have to say M3, mostly because i want all those questions to be answered (or at least some of them)
i c 3 d r p z

i dont really care if the climax between zion and the machines is all CG, cause the final flight was too, and it looked pretty good. plus, what could be real? it would cost 40 billion dollars to create everything to be real.

i believe that number one will always be the best. either one or three. and if two is better than three im going to be pissed. cause two wasnt all that.
Job

it depends

The Matrix is the best full movie

The Matrix Revolutions will hopefully be the best finishing.

M3 is only going to be the one i want to see the most because i want all those quesitons to be answered. Still, i'll admit that M1 (obviously) is the only one that stand on its own as a movie, M2 and M3 need each other to be good, i think.

Don't know, but I liked M2 more than M1.. Hope the last will be even better! :)

i think my favorite is going to always be The Matrix. It was the first movie that REALLY got me thinking. Besides, i've seen it about 9-10 times. I everytime notice something different about it. It's just too good. It so good just because of everything Morpheus says... Its just great.
Squiddy3

The only thing I didn't really like about M1 is it was mostly talk and hardly any action. But it was the starting movie and it was expected.

Oh i really hope that M3 will be the best. I loved M1 tons, and then i went to go see Reloaded, which blew me away and i liked even better than the first one. The thing is, though, it left a lot of open ends and allowed us to come up with all this stuff, which makes sense because it's really only half a movie. That's what makes the wait funner and raises mega hype levels, and i didn't really get that from the first movie.

Anyway. Yeah. If Revolutions isn't the best i'll be disapointed.
lurch

I think that the first one was the best because it was new so no other movie using the same principle will get the same response from me as the first time that i saw the matrix.
morpheus1014k

I think that m1 and m2 are about the same but it all depends on M3!!!!
