what if the churches are the machines, living off of the congregatgion like they lived off human energy in the movie. juicing them for their money and controling them with fear of burning in hell and the Almighty's rath. keeping them preocupied with an old testement vs. new testament, sects and divisions, quoting the words of aposals and telling them what they mean to eliminate one's own interpretation. praying for them. saying that you must come through them to gain the Almighty's love and further pray to jesus who will inturn relay your prayer to the Almighty, but otherwise the Almighty won't hear you. justifying slavery, justifying war, justifying favorites, for God loved isreal the most. just a thought that passed.
