How to get up on the balcony with the other rebels

No matter what I do I can't get up there before Ice dies.

It is quite easy actually, you just climb up onto the ledge just before the pipes that lead across the path (in between the machinery) then onto those pipes and walk across the pipes. It should then go into a cut-scene. For the one after that, just shoot the clamp type things around the giant spinning screw looking bolt thats wedged in the hole.
