Totally stuck on abyss level

the first time I made it through to the phone but then I was like frozen and couldn't do anything, so I turned it off and started again, now I can't get past where I have to protect Ballard. I protected him before but I am not sure exactly what I did.

Any help would be appreciated.

You climb on that ladder and kill the 1st enemy take the sniper climb on the 2nd ladder and kill the last 2 guys ( they have snipers too so you have to do it quick before they kill Ballard).

Yep and than just shoot any badass that appeard on your screen.. I personally use the M16 to take care of 'm: It's pretty accurate and has a high firerate, so you'll quickly dispose of the enemy.

there is an easier way climb the ladder but when you get t the top go back down real quick and just start shoting and then go back up and kill some more guys

Or just use cheats..... Or maybe not. Or maybe just read the post above and ignore this post. Completely up to you.

Use your focus when you got to the top of the ladder.

it slows down time and make syou move to the enemy alot faster. giving you more time to kill them.

Without focus you will merely rely on pure luck to get past it

You get stuck at the phone line because you have the enemies cant hear or see you cheat on known as invincability.

Unfortuantly this also means that ballard cant see you approaching the phone causing the game to stall!

After you get the sniper's rifle, climb the ladder enter focus real quick kill the two snipers, then focus your sights on ballard and kill the guys firing at him, since he can not fire to well. Make sure you don't have any cheats on or the game will stall. Mission accomplished.

do what they said, and if ur still having trouble, remember where the enemies are; they will usually come out from the same direction

Better still, if on hard or something use bullet time to assist you a little. Gives you more of a chance. Soz if that has already been mentioned.

try not cheating.

It's not cheating. You can use bullet time without cheats. If you haven't already discovered that. I don't think anyone here used cheats. I think the creater of this thread was just plainly stuck.
