When Neo jumped into Agent Smith in M1 he made Agent Smith become just Mr.Smith. It also freed Smith from the Agency he worked for. I don't think Neo turned into part machine from jumping into Agent Smith in M1. Anything is possible in the Matrix. I like your thought a lot. Makes me think about the Smith that we last saw lying on the table as the only survivor.

I think that Neo is caught by MRG. (as we see on the revolutions trailer) but i don't believe his body was!! he is to strong to be caught like that (body i mean) so i believe that he caught his mind and spirit .. and if so .. then he did it at the end of the reloaded film.

The movie is great I loved it. I don't think it's any better or worse then the first one because it's actually one movie.
The special effects however are a littlebit overdone sometimes but that's very personal because other people really enjoyed them.

First I thought that Neo started to use his powers in the real world as well as in the Matrix. But the idea of getting into the Matrix the wireless way sounds believable too. Well, we just have to see Revolutions to know the real truth!!

it's weird when i left the theatre i was like what happened? as if i'd just been unplugged. it was like informational overload but i think maybe that's how they wanted it to be. i loved it and looked at it as the appetizer before M3. Left a lot of questions. But I dread actually thinking they might lose and morpheus might crack.

This aint the normal run of the mill kind of flick and its still anyone's game. after they left the architect is there a matrix outside the matrix? anyone notice the whole "holy numbers thing?" the architect said there were six previous versions/generations which makes Neo # SEVEN. anyone catch that?

I think maybe the "heart saving" incident is just following the same quasi-religious slant developed in the first movie.
Last time, Neo was "resurrected", this time he raises Trinity/Lazarus from the dead.
Then again, maybe it was just smarmy Hollywood pap!

i liked the way they made the movie leave you hangin'. it leaves you with a feeling of suspense and makes you want to see the next movie that comes out that way you HAVE to watch the next movie to see what happens!!!!!!!!!:p :D :)

I thought it rocked and cant wait for more.

If you have the chance to see reloaded at an IMAX theater, it is worth the extra couple of bucks. Not only is it amazing on the big screen, but the sound system is awesome.

I liked the movie, but unsure if it was better than the first. It had great fights but the whole Zion parts was pointless and boring and that screwed it up.

I work in a cinema and I've seen the movie 6 times now, and ive still gotta go more...
The 1st time i saw it i was too busy wanking over the fight scenes to notice anything else..The only word i can use to describe them is beautifull..
However, after about the 4th time I stopped looking at the fight scenes and started listening to the storyline, which was the reason i was so excited in the first place (believe me, you can go in with your heart set on the story, and get carried away by the fighting bits so easily that its not even worth giggling over).
And the storyline is AWESOME! It carries on from M1 sooo fluently and only leaves a few things to the imagination, which i also think is the movies only weakness, if i had to pick one out.
What I mean is that in the first one, there was sense of exitement and of the unknown, they talked of Zion and you couldnt wait to see it, and then when you do its all that you thought it would be and more, but still that little thing to look foward to is gone.
All in all though, no movie EVER tops it for fight scenes, and it will remain the standerd to live up to for a VERY long time, and the only movie to beat it in stroyline is
"The Sound of Music".....I mean..."the Matrix"(the 1st one;))

Loved it! Loved it! So many original ideas, makes you wanna step in. I saw the first 5 times till i got the ideea but ill have to see reloaded 5 more times to understand the modarators speech. Anyway nothing like the other junkies, the most futuristic fantastic and real at the same time.

Definite thums up. Reloaded is excellent. Totally and utterly bemused me at the end though, you think that you know what is going on, then the architect steps up and starts chatting, what the F***?

Neo vs The Smiths was amazing. I really like Smith's character aswell, very dry humour.

As to the bit when Neo saves Trinity, i dont think it was soppy, i think it was Neo proving yet gain that he is in fact THE ONE (only just realised that Neo is an anagram of One btw, how stupid am I). Although the ultimate prooth that Neo is The One comes when he stops thos sentinels, what a hero!

Figth scenes are awesome, car chase was mind blowing and Naobi rocks!

That said I think I prefer the first one, for originalitys sake.

I keep seeing posts that the sex scene was too much & unnecessary & that Neo saving Trinity with the heart massage was too over the top.

My take on the whole thing ****MAJOR SPOILER for those that haven't seen the movie yet - but if you haven't seen it by now, what planet have you been on?

is that they are trying to stress the love that Neo has for Trinity. I think it's what makes him different from all the other anomalies. He's the only one who chooses the other door, and is willing to sacrifice Zion to save Trinity.

All along Morpheus believes that Neo is the one that will save the humans. In order to do that, he must break the cycle that has been going on so long even the machines can't remember. Neo is different - what makes him different? It's his love for Trinity.

Did I like the movie? Yes, but not as much as the first one. Ask me again when I've seen the second half.

The part I didn't like was Neo's fight with all the Agent Smiths. It started out great, but after a while is was just "Oh, for crying out loud. Just get it over with already."

You got it backwards, the architect was saying they all made the SAME choice he did. And Neo was responding the outcome would be different.

Perhaps Neo is and always has been some sort of sentient program that is now growing beyond "consciousness", to some previously unknown state of existence (stopping the sentinals with a flick of the wrist in the "real" world) and that is why the Architect was so determined to lead him down a different path---fear of the unknown

man, i saw the film one week ago when it was released in my city... its fantastic, overhelmed, incridble...

This movie was better than the first one, a lot better. The special effects were amazing. If I had a choice to see Reloaded or 2 other movies, i would choose Reloaded without thinking. The plot wasn't the best but i hope that Revolutions or Animatrix or the game fills in the holes in the plot. Other wise this is the best movie ever.. Can't wait to revloutions comes out

A wonderful sequel to The Matrix. Maybe it's not as good, but it did what every good sequel should do.
It continued the story of The Matrix without repeating it and added some really important new twists - I just hope that they're for real and that we'll get a satisfying answer to all, or at least most of these questions in Matrix Revolutions.
The movie misses the suspense and the cloudy mysterious atmosphere of the first movie but that was ineveitable. If it tried to reproduce them the result would have undoubtedly been catastrophical and would not be a worthy sequel of a masterpiece such as the Matrix.
In addition to that, there seemed to be no focus at all on the characters in the movie. We didn't really get to know Link, Niobe, Persephone, and that French key maker dude, But I'm willing to forgive that, on the assumption that it was done on purpose, in order to preserve the same video game feel from the first movie, which might symbolise the meaningless of the Matrix. I'm not sure about this stuff, we'll see in the next movie if this theory still makes sense, and if it doesn't, then this a downright huge down-side of this movie, and consequently I will not like it anymore.

I very much enjoyed the movie, and the part where Morpheus made his speech was great (Morpheus for President!!!) however the party after that was kinda bad, followed up by an even worse lovescene.

I was expecting action, filosophy, and conspiracy and although I got that, i was somewhat dissapointed by these two scenes.

Plus the combatscenes were simply to long. When Neo was waving his stick atound I had seen most of it and wanted to go on with the story. It were very nice combat scenes => Just a little to long.

I very much enjoyed the movie too. The only thing wrong with the movie was that the dude at the end was upside down. It took me precious two seconds to see who he was, and even then I wasn't sure if he was who I thought he was. Anyway, just adding my two cents...

Isn't revolutions coming out nov. 5th??

The dude at the end when it ends lying next to Neo is a Smith!
because theres a point he "changed" one of those guys when he was trying to answer a call and go back to Zion like the way they used to do in M1.

At somepoint he also cut himself and bid fairwell to Neo and the group.. thats the point I didnt understand! Until i heard he was also a survivor:( :D

It was one of those movies where you had to let it sink in. It was fantastic, and I went straight back and watched it again.

The fight scene with the Smith's in the slum, the best fight scene in cinematic history. Shame some of it was animated.

In the Matrix you can see Smith copying himself onto Bane and then picking up the phone. That way he can go to the real world and start rioting. The Bane you see in the real world is now actually a copy of Smith.
Protascos, please make some sense.

Indeed, and furthermore, Bane and Neo stopped the Sentinels back in the real world ( Zion ). Neo has a part of Smith and Smith a part of Neo, there must be a link, but what?

Best movie of the year for me, even more best movie ever,.... for now....

I Saw it at the IMAX in NOLA and it was awe inspiring! Not only was it great to see on the giant screen, but the sound system was fantastic. It was certainly worth the extra few dollars to see it there.

OK we did not see Bane stop the Sentinels but that doesnt matter, what matters is that they left him alone.

The more I see of Reloaded, the more I LIKE

When I first saw it I was disappointed cos it was too much to take in but I've seen it three times and thanks to this place can take in as much as I want to, A little too much cos last night I hardly slept cos I had Matrix stuff cruising through my brain, gotta keep telling myself it's just a movie Idea, and not the thing I base my life choices on, I base them on what God wants.

However there was some stuff I didn't like, the main thing being when Neo turned 3d in fighting scene with Smith, you can tell mainly because of his jacket. And also when he takes off to fly, it looks like hes doing the worlds biggest fart.

By far, this summers blockbuster.

the matrix reloaded was an outstanding movie.

however, the special effects could never be as exciting as the ones in the first because they simply arent surprising anymore, the fxs in the first were a complete shock; they werent expected.

let me elaborate on this. neo cannot use his powers outside the matrix. that is impossible. the real world is a matrix, in which there is another matrix; the matrix that neo is familair with. ...there is no spoon...

It is true that the first Matrix, the special effects that we saw weren't expected. But I think everyone that is a true Matrix fan can agree with me. I don't want to spoil for anyone. But*****

The scence on the highway chase and the scene with NEO and a squadran of Agent Smiths, i don't think any of us expected what we saw. It set even a higher standard for Revolutions to overcome, which it probably will.

The special effects in all the Matrix are on a level of their own. Just can't wait for what to expect from Revolutions.....

I think the are all going to fail in the part 3 and i think the 7th incantion is going to be the introduction to online matrix game they are going to release after part 3 in which we will all be playing in the matrix.

I think generation 7 is supposed to succeed where version 6 fails.

I have another idea.. If Bane is human half not human.. he srvived..
that means that he shares powers of the one..... so he survived

omg that movie was soooo annoying at the end but otherwise tottaly great. the 1st one was good but they had to introduce the story and the charactars. thats what was good about reloaded. the story and charactars have been layed out which leaves room 4 kick ass fight scenes and mind blowing visuals(the 1st 1 had good special fx but not great). i saw it on day 2 that it was out. i saw it right after school, w/ my gfreind might i add;) shes more obsessed w/ the matrix than i, she even bought a trench coat to wear during the movie. well after all id say it rocked 2 thumbs up.2 toe thumbs, and my dog but her "thumbs" up:D

m2 was the best movie ever made. when revolutions comes out it will top reloaded and kick even more ass.

Do you really think that after all the hype and well thought out storyline that the "real world" will just be a part of the matrix?
I hope not, because that would be very disappointing, not to mention hackneyed.

I don't think so, hemisphere65, the sentinels would probably not negotiate with smith anymore. He's free and not part of the machines anymore. I think it's a trick of smith we don't know of yet... until Revolutions that is.

after seeing reloaded i purchased the animatrix, which i must say was very interesting and contains a lot of information about the origin of the matrix. i enjoyed it.

My feelings about the 2nd movie was you either had to be sucked in by the story line of the 1st movie and appreciate the fact that it was the story with it's the plot and the subtle twists in the plot that made for a 2nd great movie.There are a ton of unanswered questions by the end of the 2nd film and I think this, not just the special effects (don't get me wrong; the fight scenes and bullet time effects still blow me away ) I can't wait for the last movie; especially when it's coming out the same day as the IMAX version.

i loved it .... there where so many parts where i just wanted to jump out of my seat into the movie and start kicking some agent ass.

If you want the animatrix episodes 1 & 4 I think (flight of the osiris and the skateboard one) actually fill in a few things in the movie, particularly the beginning and the kid that keeps following neo. now i'll have to go get the game because from what i understand that fills in stuff as well as gives a taste for part 3!!

btw i'm taking some new matrix/japanime style pics soon.

Just saw the 4 time. Can't get tired of watch, one more to go!

Liked the m1 better, because it's discovering.
the second one, like Morph says, shows us just how deep the rabbit hole goes.
m2 has the best fight scenes EVER, darn I was blown away!
and to think that the producer Joe Silver said that in comparison (m2 and m3) revolutions is a teaser.

With the whole thing with Neo and Trinity you can tell the girls thats its love story too for those girls that are closed minded to different movies

I really loved both the films and am waiting to see the thirdfilm. I want to buy the second but I am not to sure on the release date. By the way if I havent said it the films rock.

The sex scene was totally unneeded. The worst of all the love was when Neo touches her heart and brings her back to life. Way to sickening. I thought I was going to throw up when i saw that cheezy ****. The movie was good but totally messed up with the love.

Reloaded is up there with my top picks.

I think that us people that like it appreciate it on all levels, for its fighting scenes, action scenes, sci-fi atmosphere, and its intellectual philospophical elements.

There's been some people that I've talked to that didn't like it. I guess all they wanted was action, but its way deeper and full of more dimensions than just action.

Can't wait for Revolutions!

dude reloaded had more action then the 1st one. the 1st one they were too busy laying out the plot to put in all the action scene. if u ask me they almost had too much action. but it still rocked!

wel the action was really good on m1...even though there wasnt a lot of it. the hall scene with neo and trinity vs. the officers was the part that made up for all of it

the whole government buildin was the best!!! i think m2 has the best fighting scene's, in the 1st 1..alot of the stuff was copied in other films...i don't think they can with this film! its 2 complicated but seeing charlies angels did give an impression of matrix style

Hey dandemon, true your right Reloaded had a hell of a lot more action than M1, but my point was that people that I've talked to that didn't like it, wanted all action only, they didn't care for the dialogue or the story too much, but me, you and the rest of us here, liked it not just for the action but also for everything else in between, you know what I mean?

BTW Kat, I haven't seen Charlies Angels but yeah, there is definite Matrix style in it.

Hey dandemon, true your right Reloaded had a hell of a lot more action than M1, but my point was that people that I've talked to that didn't like it, wanted all action only, they didn't care for the dialogue or the story too much, but me, you and the rest of us here, liked it not just for the action but also for everything else in between, you know what I mean?

BTW Kat, I haven't seen Charlies Angels but yeah, there is definite Matrix style in it.

charlies angles: full throtle was sooo stupid! there was this part where they were thrown p in the air about 50 feet high...then they all grabed a piece of wood and used it to board slide down to safty....its so ****in stupid, i left right when i saw that (it sooo killed it )

i luved the matrix reloaded, it was everything i expected and more. i loved every moment of it, the cliff hanger ending just left me hanging on the cliff until revolutions arrive in november.

Besides, I don't mean that the matrix/matrix stunts will all get copied, but that there are coming/already are more great movies with such a great graphics. Hence competition.

The Matrix Reloaded lived up to the hype. The highway scene was awesome and it had so many twists and leaves you wanting more. I don't know how I am going to wait for November.

I liked it, but the Wachowski brothers kinda came off the comic book style movie.

It was too damn awesome, a little too much sex, but I can live with that....the best movie in the world!

One of the best movies I've ever seen.

The best time to see it is your first time, after that, it is still good, but most of suspense of waiting so long to see it fades away.
Oh well.

No... They are waiting until it comes out on DVD and Video and then they are releasing Revolutions. You wouldn't want to pay to see two matrix films in the cinema at the same time would you? It was only 0.5 points worse than Matrix 1 - So I like it nearly as much as I like M1:) Anyway, I expect Revolutions to be mind-blowing nevertheless I don't wanna rate it before I've seen the movie - You'll never know. Though Hugo will be as good-looking as he was in M1 and M2;)

I love that movie, as soon as I got out of it at the theatre I went *Dave Chappelle voice* YEAYUH!!!

And ran away to take a piss on account of I had a 32 oz. Dr. Pepper during the movie and a hella big thing o' poppycorn.

Another work of art by the W Brothers, and full of action, love and death. I could see this movie over and over, but never get tierd of it at all.

Just re-watched Reloaded, having not watched it for months, and I have to say, it rocked! I especially like Neo's fight in the Merv's castle, all the bits of Persephone(who for the record was far sexier in this than revolutions), and Trins chase on the Ducati996,even if they were no longer in production when the film was made!

I'd say it was the best of the three

Revolutions flaw was that it didn't give Persephone enough air time. They teased us, and so the ratings suffered.

Actually, Revolutions' flaw was that it sucked ass in every way imaginable.

Swampy, rewatch the first Matrix. I love Reloaded too but it really can't be compared to M1... that's probably the closest to perfect movie I've seen.

I agree, it didnt live up to the hype. One thing I would have changed is to put better music in the fight scenes, and not instrumental. There is just something about a fight scene with good music....Overall, I could watch the fights over and over again, and the neo and trinity scenes rocked.
Okay, you have something wrong in your brain, mister. The music was the second best thing about the fight scenes! The fighting was the best of course. I listen to that music all the time!! It is so awesome, and the instrumentals on the chateau and burly brawl are so incredible!!

Revolutions did not suck the way you said it did, sir. Sure, it didn't live up to M1, and it wasn't as good as M2, either, but how many sequels can be expected to live up to their predecessors. And don't give me any LOTR crap. There's always an exception to the rule

the sequels didn't suck, they just took a different route than the first one was going

The Matrix was a fascinating story that could have ended right there. Thankfully, Matrix Reloaded turned out to be an excellent sequel because it drew us in further by thickening the plot and introducing rich new characters. And Matrix Revolutions might even have been better than the others. While it had two untouchably incredible battle scenes, it didn't follow through on the development of the charcters of the Architect, Persephone and Merv, which in my opinion, had so much potential and could have lent the whole Trilogy a more satisfying conclusion. :)

The Matrix Reloaded was good as there was more Kung Fu than The Matrix
