Luc How did you like it? Xehirut In the words of Cypher from the first one: "Whata Mind F***!" I loved it! door#2 I think you should not read this until you've seen the movie. I was hoping it was going to be a good movie. I was hoping that the special effects were not going to be over-hyped. I was hoping that the philosohical edge in the first one hadn't gone all soft and hollywood. Dang, those boys outdid themselves. I loved the opening scene. They have mastered the art of hi-tech to tell the story, with style, not for the sake of hi tech only. Enjoy God Ooo i can`t wait 2 see it...23rd. Xeiruth pls tell how can i save your avatar. If i right click it , save picture as it doesn`t moves anymore, it`s a static picture. PLs tell me how can i save it, because i want to upload it as my avatar on another forum. hope u don`t mind. Sorry for the off topic:rolleyes: WildCard god, if you are going to steal from someone, it's rude to ask them how! I loved the movie, it was immensely deep and the few spoilers I tripped on didn't ruin a thing. I have so many theories, I don't know what to think. I have to see it again to let it sink in. -WC- God Hmmm sorry...i do not want to steal it, just use it :p :p :p Can u tell me how to save it???;) Neo879 i cant vote yet because i havnt gone and seen it yet because the stupid person i was supposed to by my tickets from sold them to someone else and then i went anyways and they were sold out. Neo neo soul The movie was GREAT!! It was what I thought it would be. The fight seens are off the chain...and the graphics are above all else. But the story line is not better than the first. That's not a bad thing...Its more of a set up for the next. The first matrix was more of a complete movie. Reloaded is a half of a movie. That's why the third is coming out so quick...this movie cant make that long on its on. It leaves to many questions out there. But thats why its good!! To put it all in a nut shell...anybody can watch the first one and have some sort means to and end (not totally). But the second one leaves us with the feeling of complete confusion. Dadumafugu Great movie, but not perfect. In my own worthless oppinion, I think they could have done a few things differently, but it was still worthy of a thumbs up. I definately got my $6 worth. Thecrow I was quite dissappointed by the movie. It let me down because it was all hyped up and didnt live up to the hype. It was basically the same fight scene done many different times but still all the same.. The only good one was the one on the highway. __SPOILER____________________________________ The sex scene was totally unneeded. The worst of all the love was when Neo touches her heart and brings her back to life. Way to sickening. I thought I was going to throw up when i saw that cheezy ****. The movie was good but totally messed up with the love. XenosGirl I agree, it didnt live up to the hype. One thing I would have changed is to put better music in the fight scenes, and not instrumental. There is just something about a fight scene with good music....Overall, I could watch the fights over and over again, and the neo and trinity scenes rocked. remy_420_ the movie was awsome the twins rocked and well neo he is the one the movie was bad ass MaTrIx_FrEaKsTr come on now, WHY would you put thumbs down, you have got2 be CRAZY. Saw it at 10 pm last night LOOOVVVEDDD IT. OMG REVOLUTIONARY. One more thing can anyone tell me how 2 put a pic below my name? Romeo's hack i only got 2 c half of it cos i got so hiped up and excited i got thrown out of de cinema no word of a lie but from wat i saw defo thumbs up.i saw 2 de point whenmorpheus cut de side of de twins 4+4 tat was deadly i loved it!!! redpill1290 get a pick below ur name by doin @ least 3 posts go 2 user cp and my options @ tghe bottom it says change avatar-choose 1 and ur good MaTrIx_FrEaKsTr THanx door#2 *spoiler* There were a lot of fight scenes. The fact that only by the end was i thinking only a little "here's another one" means that they were great. Any other directors and i'd have been bored long before. The Wuchowski bros dont do anything ordinary. Many fight scenes had unique elements. The million agent smiths. The bodies flying thru the air. The twins. The stopping the blade. It goes on. Plus the artistry of the fight scenes. Not just stop-action geta-vision, but when and where and how. It's just visual spendor. I was thinking, how am i going to watch any other fight scene with anything but "that's not as good as the matrix" in my mind. As for the heart, it's not corny, it's perfectly in-line with the laws of the matrix. Neo was giving her heart massage to start her heart again, not just to "love" her. If he can control the matrix, then why not the part of the matrix that's inside her (matrix representation of her) body. Unless he was massaging her matrix w/in the matrix heart -- but same thing -- consistent with the rules of this movie land. k-lynn I like the "Mind F**k" comment - although that was not what Cipher said. Cipher's words were 'mind job' I believe. However, when people ask me what kinds of movies I like best, I tell them without question that I like "Mind F**ks" - stuff like No Way Out, the Game, Single White Female, Shawshank Redemption, etc. But I also consider the Matrix a good brain bender too. When I first saw it, I was toying around with a number of science fiction fantasies in my head with the possibility of starting to write some of them down. Three of the concepts I played with a lot all showed up in the Matrix and now a forth has peeked it's head out of the Matrix II. I feel like they read my mind even if my foundational premise was different. I do think some of the fight scenes may have been over done - I think to some extent they were playing into the perceived hunger of the viewing public for the effects and style of fighting in those scenes, but if it keeps those folks happy, so be it. Like others before me, my interest in the Matrix - what kept drawing me back to view the DVD at least 100 times - is the socio-philosophical basis behind the story lines. Like Wildcard suggested, my head is swimming with theories and possibilities. It didn't quite go in the direction that I expected it might, but I am not as of yet disappointed and I am very anxious to see how they work it out in the third movie. I hope it won't be a let down. All I know is, if they try to make this into a TV series, someone let me know - I am going to sleep on the producer's doorstep until he lets me write for it! KL Dadumafugu Yeah, I saw the whole "heart grabbing" idea as more of a type of CPR than just a lovey-dovey, huggy-feely, heart touching thing. Neo_Fan Yeah I saw the movie last night. I'm dead tired from staying up late but hey, it was so worth it! This is gonna sound so dumb but I just saw the first Matrix like a week ago. And now I find myself seeing the first show of Matrix Reloaded. LoL! When the movie ended I mean the whole audience jumped up and yelled NO! It was a good ending, but I just can't wait until November. xirtam OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! That movie was the sweetest thing I have ever seen in my life. I saw the first Matrix at the first posibale time so I had to carry on the tradition. So I went to the 10 'o clock show. I haven't sleped since and I'm seeing it again tonight at 11. All right, now to my opinion. Spoilers ____________________________________________________ I agree that the sex part was stupid and not even important to the plot. Also, I need to bring a dictionary to look up all the words at the part where Neo meets the creatior of the Matrix. Thats the main reason Im goin' back. Those were the "bad" things in the movie. The greatest part of the movie was the car chase. That was sooooooooooo sweet. And the Twins were realy awsome. TAndersoNeo 2 words, damn good. hi, new here, but love matrix. reloaded was awesome and better(only by a little) then the first one. Xehirut Originally posted by k-lynn I like the "Mind F**k" comment - although that was not what Cipher said. Cipher's words were 'mind job' I believe. KL You are correct in correcting Mind F***, as Mind job, but in the original script they called for Cypher to say Mind F***, but they cleaned it up.. *why? I don't know...* They also orignally had Trinity say "Dodge This.. Mother F****er." but they cleaned that up too... I think it was rating values that made them clean it up. yupthasme I thought reloaded was horrible. It was 25 mins. of movie with 2 hrs. of special effects-- very disapointing. Carlos I read all those comments about a sex scene , a highway scene , the opening scene ... The movie won´t be here in Brazil untiil may 23rd.... Damm it sucks.... Carlos 7 days and counting ... scrappy Man, talk about giving us something to talk about. Whoever said "Wow, what a mind F**k" hit the nail on the head. What a total F**king mind F**k. God In romania too..23rd :( TheDrakemaster Hello, Holy ****, I just got home from watching The Matrix Reloaded and I'm simply overwhelmed. Thumbs up! Coi2p0rate TKO I think the movie was decently done and left alot to the imagination. I also agree that the sex/rave scene was unneccessary though the rave scene was pretty good way of boosting the soundtrack sales (Marketing Major) I couldn't help but feel the slightest pressure on my brain when the designer of the Matrix explained what it meant to be the 1. I am more confused on whether Neo is the end all to Zion or to the Matrix. When the chancellor and NEO had that scene together and they were down in the deepest area's of Zion talking about the neccesity of man and machine, I couldnt help imaging things in the real world that share such a symbiotic relationship.... With that lil tip I was prepared more for what the Matrix Designer had to say to NEO about himself and his predeccessors. :D Sorry if I said 2 much already..... But I need to talk bout it somehow if I wish to understand fully by the 10th time I see that movie. gurrlpunk MATRIX RELOADED ROCKED! Trinity was bad ass (as usual). the opening scene was awesome... loved the effects thru the entire movie! is there speculation about another MATRIX? the ending killed me! but it was good... left me hanging... gave me room to think and use my imagination. :D "Touch me and that hand will never touch anything again" Sephiroth Well, It was good, but didnt have the athmosphere like in M1 in my opinien... And Trinity turned realy ugly...... But the Twins ROCK! To bad they die so early redpill1290 i luved it-i cant wait-omg zion only has 24 hours 2 live-and neo has his powers out side of the matrix-and after morphius pumps up the prophesy 4 20 mins it turns out 2 bull****-and the human race would b dead-xcept 4 1 ship and 1 person-NEO(who has powers in the reel world-holy fukin **** im xcited(sry 4 statin the obvious its so fukin cool redpill1290 i used 2 luv agent smith and trinity but now my favs r neo and niobe-theyr just 2 cool This is a family forum Red. Don't use those words. And you know what words I'm talking about. redpill1290 ur right-my bad(seriuosly) i have kids and i dont want em reeding curses-ill watch out next time Maddog How could anyone give it a thumbs down? It had the best cave party, best fight scene, and best chase scene. It also had a lot of special effects to keep us hooked. I can not wait for revolutions because reloaded blew my mind like the first one. NEOsporin i have to agree with how sick that scene was when neo reached in trinities heart and woke her up. That was waaaaay to good guy for my taste.. personally i could of went with smith coming from behind and finishing the job on neo hahaha gurrlpunk hey wassup, it's me again~ i jus wanted to add that those evil twin guys were bad ass too. the scene where they were fighting morpheus in the parking structure was awesome... effects were great! and yes, the scene on the freeway was frickin' off the hook! but i was a little sad when the beautiful escalade ext was blown to bits :( , but it was all-g. k, laterz! Helix How could you NOT have enjoyed the Matrix Reloaded? I cant believe that 2% voted no. It astounds me! Sephiroth Originally posted by gurrlpunk hey wassup, it's me again~ i jus wanted to add that those evil twin guys were bad ass too. the scene where they were fighting morpheus in the parking structure was awesome... effects were great! and yes, the scene on the freeway was frickin' off the hook! but i was a little sad when the beautiful escalade ext was blown to bits :( , but it was all-g. k, laterz! like i said, they died to early.... What a shame, they would have made great charackters :( PinkRoseBouquet Wow! This movie rocks! I am sitting in front of my original Matrix poster with Morpheus, Trinity and Neo and thinking...gosh, those Wachowski brothers are friggin' geniuses! I loved the Soundtrack! I loved the costumes! I loved the fight scenes--- totally kickass fighting, it was like violent ballet with killer style... The color scheme and atmosphere of the movie are beyond cool...Matrix chic should have a magazine of its own... The dance scene and the sex were appropriate to the movie I think...this isn't a film for little kids, and the writers/producers appreciate the fact that the audience has the maturity and brains to appreciate the love aspect as much as the action... The Matrix is the best big screen series of all time! Just had to get that off my chest... gurrlpunk can someone help a sista out? i was wondering how people are putting those icons by their screen name. if someone is willing to let the secret out, PM me! pleez! i wanna be cool and put an icon by my name... lol (what a dork). by the way, i was so jealous of TRINITY during the love scene! haha! keanu reeves is a hotty in both the MATRIX and MATRIX RELOADED. jz-is-me MIND BLOWING! I really don't know where to start because there is soooo much to take in. It's great reading through all the posts and everyone's opinion. Thought it was my turn to add!.... With the success of original Matrix, there is obviously going to be A LOT of hype about reloaded. I find it is always best to keep your own head about the movie and try not to saturate yourself with trailers, reviews, etc. I reading some comments about the sex scene, not enough philosophy, la la la... but really, matrix reloaded wasn't about creating a double of matrix. It had to grow from there and take another path. I understand people being offended/unimpressed by the sex scene but what else are the 2 of them going to do. They just found love at the end of the original... they are not exactly going to be walking around holding hands for the whole storyline???! Sexual desire is a powerful thing and I think the W. Bros portrayed this fantastically. Come on now, I'm not some sex fiend... but I thought the whole scene and the parallel images of a dancing Zion were unbelievably powerful. that's all from me for now. really looking forward to discussing this film! i'm sure the debates and comments could go on forever! netskills I am the only person hasnt seen Reloaded yet, it doesnt even premier here until Wednesday Rylassassin AWSOME!! I SIMPLY LOVED IT!! I was totally amazed by this movie it captured my heart. It was totally diffrent from the first one you cant even compare them. Reloaded had more action scenes and special effects then i could handle. It was truely a work of art. The story line left me speachless, i dont even know what to think anymore. But it has truely gone deeper then i had ever imagined. I cant even pick a favorite part because i loved so many. Like mentioned before when Neo saves Trinity that was an absoulutly great scene but more so when he flies like the speed of light to save her through the city. Man i cant tell you guys how much i loved it. Im going again today prob. What made the movie was Neo, he is the best part about it. No doubt. :D :D :D funkyhorror i loooooooooooved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the only thing which cought my eye and kinda bothered me a bit was the fighting scene with all the 'clones' with the stick - how i could tell quite easily it was alot of computer graphics... but i don't care, it still rocked!!!!:D WakeUpNeo I really loved "The Matrix: Reloaded". At first, I was wary, but the movie soon captured me completely. I look forward to "Revolutions" in the fall with great intensity, . Irkjuzuga have to go and look at it, when it comes societyismatrix Some people have been criticizing the love scene where Neo brings Trinity back to life by reaching into her chest to restart her heart. I have to admit, the first time I saw it I was totally gagging and thinking "What the hell is this Hollywood romance crap doing in this movie?" Then after the second time I saw it, I realized I missed the fact that this was a "resurrection" performed by Neo and this totally goes along with his image as a Christ-figure and adds further to the whole religious symbolism of the series. So after I realized that connection, I realized that my gagging response was a little uninformed. dkm2 Just want to say amazing!!!! Have seen it twice already, the love scenes have to be of some importance to the Revolution!! The Matrix is not a romance. Neo made the different choice then the rest of his predesecors because his emotions not just for mankind, but because of Trinity. The heart part, just my opinion first of all, is another example of Neo changing "destiny" in the matrix which I believe has something to do with whatever he did at the end. Araxis Seen it twice. Dieing to see it a third-- and more. Favorite movies of all time. :D vegitto01 Originally posted by Sephiroth Well, It was good, but didnt have the athmosphere like in M1 in my opinien... And Trinity turned realy ugly...... But the Twins ROCK! To bad they die so early why did you have to spoil it by telling me they die early! and are the twins the people in the commercial that can go through stuff or are they like a new type of an agent? matrixity I think they could of layed of the fight scenes a little tough. Since it was a longer then average movie i feel they got enough plot and depth in. Love the ending, can't wait to see the revolutions. the-one_1 ok well i just made a acount on here like a few mins ago so i can be with all the other hardcore matrix fans i just want to know how many of u wish they would make more than 2 matrix sequals give me a massage if u agree it seams that it would be alot more fun to have more to have more sequals although i am a guy i fell in to being a ok i fergot how to spell his name kean reves fan when he did bill and teds exalat adveturs they r my most favorit movies of all till the matrix now there my 2 fav i also like vin desil movies so i am a vin desil fan and a very big kean reves fan so i gess i am a super big matrix fan so i am a hardcorefan ok so send me a message if u agree with the have more sequals idea :D  Metheus.. yeah, that movie was tight -Post edited for language. This is a family site, please remember that.- TheDrakemaster Who knows love may be the answer to it all. Who knows Neo will be able to manipulate the world through love. Yet I think his real inner love just maid him able to follow the right trail. It's not only love that makes Neo SentinelSlayerno.1. key<master> It was unreal! It is soo cool! I think that when Neo kick-started Trinity's heart that was a bit soppy and so not needed, but what the heck! Great effects, great storyline, great... great everything! So lookingf forward to the next one! TheDrakemaster Great effects idd. I really liked the fight between Trinity and the two agents when they jumped down from the window blasting at each other. Astonishing. Sharjeel3214 I needed to ask you people how I can get an icon on the side... Cause I'm new at this and don't know how... I'd appreciate it if you let me know thanks :) trinityflame_fv I liked it and agree that trinity did turn a bit uglyer.. and the twins sis not die youcansee them flying up withthe explosion.. you can really kill a program.. unles you are the sorce or an agent matrix_decode I thought that Matrix Reloaded was a whole lot better then the first one... Neo had mastered his powers of being The One How could you put thumbs down to this movie youd have to be Crazy -greeNNumbers- Hi everyone, newbie on this forum. Anyways, to the movie itself, watched it on Friday night. TOTALLY AWESOME. Heard a lot of moans and groans from the group I was with, complaining about the over abundance of touchy-feeliness (is that a word?.....lol) between Trinity and Neo, but what the hell, you gotta catch your breath sometime in the movie, what with all the Superman stuff goin on..... No, I think that the Trinity/Neo scenes were as important if not more so than the interaction with Smith as this is the reason for why Neo, is well NEO!!! What more can be said. He must have a reason for being, without it there is only the accpetance that he would have to go through the right hand door (the door to reboot the program...so to speak). Then there won't be M3....lol. :) :) I am angry though that the movie has left me with a sense that time is moving toooooooooooo SLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWW COME ON NOVEMBER!!! Where are ya? be4682 No one should complain they havent watched Matrix reloaded. Where i am its not going to be out until June.. but from what i read : I believe its a must watch.. unless .... rzasharp3 I WASNT IMPRESSED THE FIRST ONE WAS BETTER TheDrakemaster Well I think it's difficult to say that one matrix-movie is better than the other, because the brothers did a very good job making the two movies (and probably all three of em) so that you can see them one after the other as one movie. They are both top quality and in the same style; which is not always evident when facing a much larger budget and having years to make the next one (two)! noahnoah that was soooooo badddd a$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ AgentSmith7 The movie was the best and better than the first hands down. It kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Dawn My opinion of the movie: At first, I was a little disapointed because there were sooooooooo many fight scenes, I mean they were really awesome but it was kind of overkill, but I guess I'll get used to it. Also, the scene where Neo and the Oracle talk about all that stuff, and literally reveal all the secrets of the first movie, that disapointed me. I thought it was too blunt, not like in the Matrix where you had to think to figure things out, they just said it all: who she is, how she knows so much, everything about the place where they were... The funny parts bugged me too...I mean they were funny, but I've never seen the Matrix as being a funny movie, but I'll get used to that too I guess. All the parts other than those were AMAZING! Especially the part after Neo sees the Architect, where he saves Trin...I was so moved and so overly impressed I cried...you know that kind of crying where you're whole body shakes? Like that...it was crazy how terrible I felt when I knew Trin was going to die...but then when Neo brought her back, you could see how much he loved her...and when Neo stopped the centinels and fell, the look in Trinity's eyes was so sincere and full of love for him...and Morpheus quote (See My signature) that he says as he watches his ship burn; imagine the terrible loss he must feel, seeing his second "home" burn down and knowing that his real home is destroyed as well. :( The ending drove me crazy though, the music was really loud so nobody heard me but I was screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I couldn't believe they'd do that to us! I watched the trailors at the end though, and the next one looks really awesome!! I can't wait for November! Funny how I waited for 4 years, but how just a few months seems like so much more... But all in all, the movie was amazingly great, I think uncomparable to the Matrix because of how different they were. The Matrix seems basic compared to Reloaded, there are lots of different questions that I have now...like who exactly is the Architect? A program? Who was he created by? The humans? He knew that by placing Trinity with the door to the right that he would pick it, but why did he want the Matrix to be over? Who did the Architect get to help build the newer Matrix with him? And how did Neo stop the centinels? Is the Matrix in a matrix idea real? What will happen next, now that Zion is gone (for good?) ? And what about the agent Smith (diguised guy) aboard the ship? ARGH I wanna know what's gonna happen! Sorry, I know this post is long...I just needed to say all that :p AgentSmith7 i agree dawn about the ending but you have to admit those fight scenes where pretty badass cool and added alot of excitement to the movie. and besides the whole point of the second movie is to reviel the secrets of the first movie thats sorta the whole point AgentSmith7 omfg how can 5 ppl dare say they didnt like the movie thats amazing matrixguido movie rock be4682 One should not wonder why 5 people voted not for the movie; its like whe they were expecting Matrix to b some cartoon thing so it didnt meet their expectations; because they are cartton funs!! :D Ram Air I thought the Matrix was the best movie this year. Can't wait for the conclusion;) TheArchitect823 That question will always have two answers. (obviously) Everyone who liked the movie, liked it because they understood most of it. i hope. Everyone i talked to who said they didnt like it were complete idiots with feeble brains who cant think for themselves. The Matrix movies will always amaze anyone with a brain and confuse those who have none. To answer your ?, Reloaded was AbsoF*ckinCredible!!!!!!!! ling hi another new kid here. just sayin to the uk kid your not alone. i havent seen reloaded yet and it's killing me! seeing it 2moro, first showing, of course! hope you get to se it soon! bye;) TheDrakemaster Matrix was brilliant and had one of the best opening scenes ever made thus far: Trinity's jump/fall from the building. Kabal_Generex Alot of ppl are going to hate me, but i didnt like the movie all that much. It didnt suck but i still think it wasnt great. One thing that ticked me off was that sick ass mech looking thing, but it was never used...bastards... TheDrakemaster I'm not sure but I believe they will be used in Revolutions (saw them in the trailer). Noir one of the funniest complaints i heard about the movie was from a friend of mine online, he goes TOO MANY CG fight scenes!!! too much CG in the movie I'm like, hello, the whole matrix IS a computer generated world, what do you want them to do? Haxxor The funniest thing about matrix reloaded is Agent Smith He is still the same, except there is about 300 of him. Favorite part -Agent jumps into a body of a passerbyer, while Neo is fighting so many of him...Then Smith appears and then looks at the other agent. The Agent then says, "Its You" Smith responds by saying "Yes, Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me," while he turns that agent into another clone of his, wheo then says back, " Me too". LpFrEaK tahoma arial sky blue wow! i loved it... i was so great... i liked the first one.. but i loved this one... i think it will be my new cult movie haha.... i've only seen it once but i'm sure that will change soon... what about you? redpill1290 i luved it but i think u should unstich this chilly  Saw it Wednesday night with another parent and around 30 kids........had to go back Sunday night to make sure everything registered right- needed a second look (listen?) at the Architect.Enjoyed the crossover of Neo and Agent Smith into each other's worlds. Reloaded kept the purity. chilly:p DiligentPriest Of course it was incredible...but then again it was the "Matrix" for crying out loud....knowing that it is only a precursor for the conclusion only makes it an even better movie....by posing all of those questions and leaving us out there... it makes it even more interesting and perhaps makes us all anticipate the conclustion that much more...they did an exception job....I really look forward to the conclusion. I really want to find out more about this architect character....I have some theories... antihero matrix reloaded was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I could go on for hours, but i won't bother cause there were so many tight explosions and fight scenes, none of you kids will ever care that the plot was pathetic. Does the fact that they intentionally tried to make the architecht conversation as difficult to understand as possible not set off any alarms about the filmmakers faith in it? The freeway chase scene was terrible. worst chases since gone in 60 seconds. it wasnt real, it wasnt amazing, it wasnt even interesting. Yes, lots of stuff blew up. they even had an amazing bling bling escalade with the power to turn sideways and flip over for no reason at all. Btw, whoever mentioned 'purity' and this peice of rubbish in the same sentance, how much do you think cadillac paid to have all their cars in the movie? Do any of you have any idea how much faster a ducatti is compared to a squad car? This is not a minor detail. when i saw the whole truckloads of bikes, i got excited, and what did they do with them? nothing. The special effects and fight sequences were weak as hell. The trinity falling scene was awesome, and that was the only scene in the whole movie that was especially well done. the rest of the cinematography in the move was pretty boring. The whole movie was just burning time with fights, explosions, and dumb plot twist. Vampires, werewolves and ghost? please. but yeah, the movie was tizight yo! that scene with the dancing was so off the hook cause there were boobs and i saw trinity's theigh.... It could of been a good movie, but instead of a mind trip, they just dressed up an average blow stuff up and kill people movie with some big words. What a way to waste so much potential from the first matrix. Oh well, they sold out, and its paying off. Epix Can any one here tell me wtf did the arcitech told neo wat is the matrix, that conversation is damn f$%^ing long and i was like screaming wtf u talking about in the cinema........... Smithmatic I loved the movie it was great and me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves! Thanx Wachowski Bros! And to Epix trnlations of what the Arch said are all over the site especially in the Oracles Apartment section. tpvolfan Seriously, I have already seen the movie 4 times. And, it's actually just about as good the second, third, and fourth time. You could spend hours speculating the very nature of the paradox entwined within. The Wachowski's really thought this through well. liondale Yesterday evening a long wait came to a most pleasant end, as Reloaded came to town :) I loved the movie. I am slightly puzzled to say the least of more than one event in the movie but will discuss those under different threads, since this is a "liked or not" poll. What I did like was the amazing fights, the music, the atmosphere. The brilliant dialogue - in contrast to many other sci-fi/adventour movies, where the effects may be brilliant but the dialogue is for ******s. Great new characters - loved: Merovingian and Niobe (despite Niobe having IMHO the worst line in the movie when she repeated Morpheus in the council). And Smith and Trinity was even better than in the first. Did not like, just a couple of details; - Trinity not outracing the followers with the Ducati - Neo massaging Trinity's heart, IMHO it would have been better if he brought her back by just "fixing her code" by other means... - Why the agents tried to capture the Keymaker, when the Architect had made Matrix 6.0 to depend on the Keymaker to lead Neo to the target.... All in all, a wonderful movie!!! NeoX I liked the movie very much...it fulfilled all my expectations and left me with a strong desire to seen the third movie. gurrlpunk i totally agree with liondale... what's up with the ducati not ourracing the cop cars? TRINITY should've blown them. hehe, anyways, i can't wait for REVOLUTIONS. TheDrakemaster Perhaps Trinity was too busy driving to care about blowing cops off and perhaps the freeway was full of cars, thats why. furious angel I really think it was unbelievable. Actually wrong word - it was very believable, but also amazingly, dazzlingly, undeniably, (add your own adjectives ending in'ly' here) impressive. Roll on Revolutions.......... TheDrakemaster True spoken. Tomorrow I'm getting Enter the Matrix; hope it is good. gurrlpunk nah dude, there was the one scene where they showed TRINITY on the ducatti and they were only like a little ahead of the cop cars. the bike is way faster than that... but anyways, i liked how the wachowski brothers had the camera angles when TRINITY was weaving thru traffic and stuff... instead of the camera being behind the bike, it like, went thru the trucks and stuff... anyone know what part i'm talking about? it's pretty damn cool. purpose I overall like the movie, I've seen it 3 times. Someone earlier mentioned that the instrumental music shouldn't have been added in favor of vocals. I dissagree with that statement. The "ZION" tribal beat song in the temple by "FLUKE" was amazing, and the song by don davis during the freeway chase was infectious, i repeat play it on the way to work, about 2 minutes and 20 seconds into track 5 on disc 2 of the sound track it gets good, with the harder beat. I realize that the pressure to out due the fighting scenes was overwhelming for the younger audience but The first scene with all the agent smith's was a lil' hokey for my tastes. although "me, me, me" "me 2" "more". was kinda funny at the same time. But the whole length of the fight was a lil long in the tooth. I liked the architect scene because it tied into the belief that NEO truley is the "ONE" because he hasn't done the same things the other 5 had done. Thus leading to the eventual defeat of the machines. the ending was a bit abrupt and annoying but atleast they gave a big teaser trailer at the end of the credits that left you with not so quite a bitter taste in your mouth. I really do applaude the TEA house scene with the asian actor that guards the oracle, he was very well trained. and meril vingian and persiphany were both extremely good actors. i think with out doubt the 2 worst actors in the film were LINKS aunt who played the "anti christ" on "angel tv series" she really is a bad actress. and the other was the "oracle, i never much cared for her, in the first film either". one person i really liked a lot was the councilor that neo went walking with at night, he really was convincing in his acting when he was talking about sleeping the first 11 years of his life, and the stint on not understanding things, but knowing why they exist, the serve a purpose and he only hopes that neo finds out his purpose before its too late. the script was very well done, the 3 recurring catalysts of "CHOICE" "PURPOSE" "CAUSALITY" were very thought provoking. are the machines right, humans are without choice, or is NEO the argument to that statement, because he chooses to ignore the laws of the matrix written by machines to try and control humanity, and he time and time again refruses to play by the rules. the heart jolt scene was proof of that, the architect and his matrix are like the guo'uld from "stargate sg1" theyre aragance will be there downfall, they underestimate humanity and its ability to throw out all logic and boundaries and do what must be done to improve the human condition. well thats my 2 minutes on the soap box, next please. PURPOSE CHOICE CAUSALITY neo gives the finger to those concepts.... enemycoke if i wasnt broke id see it over anover again Bivalve I think that "The Matrix: Reloaded” was a very disappointing movie. In it, the spectator could help himself to a varied assortment of long and repetitive fight scenes, which honestly weren't that good. To be frank, most Jackie Chan movies have better fight scenes than these. Am I the only one that finds the immortal, unconcerned Neo agonizingly boring? Weren’t these agents deadly in the last movie? Where’s the concern and the suspense when facing these opponents? I’m not only talking about Neo, but the other characters as well. The excruciatingly slow dialogues were obviously changed in an attempt to make the movie "idiot proof", but the only thing it did was damage the quality of a "could be" script. In it, the Fate theme was all but deep or impressive. I've seen other movies doing a better job at discussing the Fate theme and the struggle of a hero against his own fate, which by the way, is a very tired topic and could be approached through a different perspective. Moreover, it has too many cliché lines and situations, they wore out the use of slow/fast motion effect, close ups and camera travel. As to specific scenes, the highway chase was way overdone. I really think that 10,000 car crashes and 78 explosions were enough to make it way more than eye-candy. I specifically disliked the part when an agent jumps on the hood of a car and it flips more than 10 times, causing a horrendous crash that involved more than 20 cars. MY God! Can anybody say "excessive"? In addition, what in the world was that underground party? When this scene started, the first thing that popped into my head was "Planet of the Apes". An impressive amount of people had awakened, defeating the "we're alone, we're special" aspect that added all the suspense and made the characters seem extraordinary in the first movie. I understand that the purpose of the characters themselves is to bring every human being into the "real" reality, but when a giant rave party, with African-like percussion and with a MTV twist is thrown into the mix, every little scrap of tension and despair is completely blown out of the movie. I mean, with all that technology and battle suits running around in the docking area, the least they could do was build a nice sound system and hire a decent DJ… (*sarcasm*) Also, what’s with the introduction of vampires and wraiths? As if the movie wasn't fictitious enough, they had to introduce vampires in it as well? Well, I guess that in the next one, we will see dwarves, goblins and fairy godmothers running through a grassy green meadow... I was really impressed by the first movie, which made me a Matrix fan. This "sequel" (I’m still in denial) could be compared to "Star Wars: Phantom Menace", which I think was a disgrace to the Star Wars legacy (that's a topic on its own). I used to think that "The Matrix" was a refreshing movie, with an intense originality, but "Reloaded" turned out to be a completely commercialized production, made to give exposure to brands like Cadillac or Duccati. Don't be surprised if you start seeing 2 DVD boxed sets, Director's Cuts and "Limited Editions" of these movies (soon to be trilogy). Apparently, merchandising was the only thing this second movie was intended for. My advice is: If you haven't seen this movie, wait for it to come out in video or DVD and rent it. More to come.... Bivalve Honestly, I hardly think that this movie was "deep" or insightfull at all. The "Purpose, Choice, Casualty" theme was half assed (no offense to those who think it wasn't) and any other writer coul've done a better job at developing it in or into an interesting story gurrlpunk hey, is this a library, cuz i keep seeing NOVELS everywhere.... lol. yeah, i tried to be funny... so sue me. :p be4682 Hi, First Bivalve.. you are the first person who has actually brought out a different view of Reloaded. Infact if posible u actually did explain the movie to some of us who havent watched it. If i get a different view then i will wait till its out for rent!! :D TengoUK Hi all, First time poster here, I just say the movie last night. Open on Wednesdas here in the UK. Overall, I loved the movie. I liked the way the explained the rouge programms, Vampires, Ghosts, Warewolves and the lot. BUT, I do agree that the love scene was a bit out of place (Keanu ---> eye candy for the ladies). Also, I had a few questions, and was hoping someone would share their opinion with me. 1. Neo - In my opinion is just the Alpha geek of the whole group. He sees the code behind the Matrix. BUT, as we saw in the first movie (when he and Cyper were talking) so did everyone else. It's just that they interpeted the code to the picture it was showing (just like the construct program they talked about). Now Neo, saw the code, but since he was new, he didnt do any interpitation. So they were one step ahead of him in that sense. Now, what he did was go past them in the Matrix, by once again only seeing the Code behind the images. That's why he's the One. But why didn't he just explain this to the rest of them, so that they to could understand how to do it? I know I sound really dumb here, but I just need some help with this one. 2. Based upon the last question, why does he waste time fighting, when all needs to do is modify code to make changes to the Matrix himself? Please don't chop me to shreds here, I'm just looking for some answers to help me with all this. Those movies have really gotten into my brain. :D Any word on when this movie is gonna be released on DVD? By for now, TengoUK Believer Hello everyone, I just found this forum, this is my first post. I LOVED Reloaded. I've seen the original Matrix so many times, that as the opening music and visuals played, I could hardly believe it when I was seeing NEW things unfold before me. What a long wait it's been! Totally worth the wait, to me. It didn't have the seamlessness that the first movie did, nor the stand-on-it's-own completeness, but taken as a transition movie (between the first and the last movies), it is a great ride. It moves on all of the same levels: visually, the fight scenes, the spiritual metaphors, and this time a whole new level of love and sensuality (which is quite satisfying I might add). What's it been, four years since the original movie? After that wait, waiting a few months for the next movie is going to be a breeze. I'm just glad it's not another four years!! The end of this movie, although it is a major hanger, does have it's degree of satisfaction. Not because everything is revealed, but because what is revealed is so curious and tantalizing. Also that scene [spoiler alert here...], I'll call it the big superman scene with Trinity at the end, was awesome. Okay, it was a bit Steven-Speilberg-esque, but I ate it up like a hungry puppy. Was I the only one who expected this? It seemed right in line with Neo's powers, and also with the loose parrallel to real-world mystical powers (ie. energy-level healing, which in my experience is very real). I have more to say, but I'll move on to the "Spoilers" forum. ... 4 out of 5 stars sounds right; it's hard to match the original, but it is a great ride nonetheless. Yay, it's opening night for some of you... Enjoy! B166ER Are you kidding?! GREAT movie, really. In the beginning I thought it could have a slight chance o disappointment, but boy, I was wrong. Bivalve Originally posted by Believer It seemed right in line with Neo's powers, and also with the loose parrallel to real-world mystical powers (ie. energy-level healing, which in my experience is very real). Well, I didn't like "Reloaded", of coarse, this is just my opinion which is as valid as anybody's else. Now, I really do understand everything about the movie, since I used to be a huge fan. About Neo's powers in the "real world": What I am about to say is a huge guess, but sounds interesting nonetheless. Neo shows mystic powers in the real life after his conversation with the Architect. When he does, the first thing that he says is: "Wait. [To Trinity] Something's different. I can feel them" "SOMETHING'S DIFFERENT". The Architect gave Neo 2 choices, represented by 2 doors. One door would lead him back to the life he had always known, and the other one would lead him to the end of Zion and life as he knows it. This trail of thought leads me to 2 conclusions. 1. Neo never escaped the matrix after the talk with the Architect. ("Something's different") 2. What they think is real life, is just another form of control, just like the Matrix. After Zion, there is another level of consciousness, or "reality", if you will. Remember, the Oracle, who is a second architect as we all found out in "Reloaded" knew about real life and about the Matrix, even though she was inside the Matrix and was indeed, a program. Again, this are all just guesses based on facts about "Reloaded" which I think is a commercialized movie... lol. Tell me what you guys think of this theory. More to come... trinityflame_fv Hey gurrlpunk I agree with you 100% but it is kinda kewl that people are so sefl confident to put out what they think with out many worries. THEDOUGLEr/BATM GAHHHH!!!!!! THE MOViE IS JUS A BIG HARDCorE ROMP ScENE BUTCHERING THE ORGININAL!!!!!!!! if u need more info about how much it sucked my big fat cock (batmans 2!) u just relpy... SHOVE THE SPOON UP UR ASS! morpheusglasses ermm....the love scenes were pretty cheesy and i was a little disappointed.......but the fight scenes made it all better....and i think that it was made to leave ppl with their mouths open so that they will c revolutions for them to understand reloaded. sparkling_mud I really think that the action was a test, to seperate the hardocre matrix fans from the action hungry fans... Think about it... if you were really a die hard fan you wouldn't be distracted from the plot by the action.. If anything it would make the whole experience better. THEDOUGLEr/BATM i believe the whole movie wuz based on Neo and Trinity ****ing and that big orgy at the begining wuznt very good either u saw 1 tit thats not even a set. no one should have to sit through that movie its a waste of time and money! i wanna no y neo can be the one outside the matrix cuz if he can stop the setinals doesnt that mean hes a machine? and if he is a machine y wuz he born in the fields, cuz if he wuz born in da fields then hes human the people should learn how to get their story straight and where did the black chick who had da fling with morphious come frum? should she have bin in da first one? and shouldnt of the other people frum Zion of helped them in the first movie? it so confusing then when he met with da architect he used so many fricken big words i bet only 1 in a million could of understood what the F**k he wuz talking bout. then its pretty dumb how Neo when hes fightning smith in da park how he so strong that he throws them all away whemn they doggie pile him then when he foudn the key guy neo could barely defend himself against the fags.. but the twins r awsome but when they were fighting morphious it shoulda bin longer cuz how one punches him then when morphious tries to punch then one twin whos not a ghost then that guy goes into a ghost while the other twin goes real punches him so morphious attacks that guy then he goes ghost then the other guy attacks him i find that jus great. they better b in revolutions.. and wut wuz up with the whole chick did he give her a orgasim or make he ned to piss or wut? so manyt aspects of that **** wuz so ****ing confusing hey. i really didnt enjoy that movie much. then he has 24 hr to save zion and hes passed out beside the evil guy who is a copy of smith that wuz a bad way to end it off cuz y wuz he the only one to live smith wuz unpluged so he couldnt even get to the setinals if he wanted to.. and wut wuz up with the chinese guy in da white who wuz protecting the oricle or w/e? where the **** did he come from it jus duesnt make any ****ing sesne.. then the kid with the spoon, how did he get to zion? its jus dumb he wuz with the oricle then in zion and u dont even see him and yet i guess its supposed to mean sumthing then who wuz that kid who met Neo and the begining when they docked wut did he have to do with anything. they creators left so many things hanging.. they prob gonna **** up the 3rd one to i mean the screwed this one up royaly! they should of just left it the way it wuz with the first one it would of been so much simpler.. Neos the one and thats all. it would of saved people so much dissapiontment.. especially me cuz i watsed good money on that movie. seeing a jim carey movie would of been more worth while that seeing the matrix. it wuz supposed to be such a big hit but how could it b when nothing makes sense. i bet that there wuz 2 people outa the 1 000 000 here who accually understood the movie then to fit in the other jus followed their lead i mean like omg how could neone like the movie? its jus incomprehenseable... then the credits omg it took 30 min jus to see a 2 minute trailer that showed nothing!!! i think neo should of saved Zion and jus left Triniity the carzy ***** to die. and since when could Neo heal people? its so dumb. and what happened to TANK!!!! that Link guy wuz jus kind of there giving no story line to wut happened to tank, all i could figure out either Link wuz tanks lil bro our Links wife wuz Tanks lil sis i no one of those to wuz related to tank and bowser. wut wuz up witht hre mech thing how can a robot twirl its guns? the concept is kool but **** the maker ****ed up on this movie gooooodddddd If u got sumthing to say cuz i believe very strong in wut im saying and please if u no the answers to sum things im saying please fill me in cuz i dont feel like hating a movie that might b good if i no what the ****s happening..... Peace THE DoUGLEr ANd BATMAn Mr. Andserson...:(    Neo6th I liked it a lot although at first it confused me after the architect scene after thinking about it I understood it. Neo6th Hey Bivalve i think that your theory is very accurate, i thought just the same when i came out of the movie. wayze i really enjoyed the matrix it was an amazing movie. i didnt quite understand how the system worked as even the oracle, the architect and neo semed to be part of the program but not in the program. i enjoyed the fight sences, and riddles in the movie also the love scene wasn't too lovey dovey ****. The most amazing thing that i enjoyed about the matrix was the way you could sit back in you cinema seat and play the matrix as a kind of videogame shall we say. But thats only cause im a computer?! Neo6th I loved it! sparkling_mud first of all, lets remember there is still another movie to come... did you not see the big screen say that "to be concluded" ????? And second of all... They're in love of course they're gonna do it!! And it was not based on trinity and Neo fu*****! My gawd were you watching the rest of the movie???? And we find out that Neo can now use his powers in the real world.. But just becuase he can stop the machines doesn't mean he is one... And on a happier note... I am very excited to see the agent and Neo duke it out in the real world... Did anyone see the preview for The Matrix Revolutions?? sparkling_mud again this is for the Dougler... were you following the plot at all???? Zion had already been distroyed and becuase Neo saved Trinity from dying he changed the fate of the human race, and they had to end it that way becuase they filmed both reloaded and revolutions as one big movie... They had to cut it somewhere.. And I think that was a very appropriate place to cut it... Also, the first movie was about finding the one... The second one was about the choice Neo made.. and the third one is going to be about the death...of the one People who don't WATCH the movie, and then rant about how bad it was should be locked in a cage and then dipped in acid! THEDOUGLEr/BATM hey u blow me , we all have dif opinions of the ****ing movie *******..... and i think you were turned on by all the **** scenes. and since when does Neo have powers? hes not a ****ing super hero hes got himself sum abilities.. and yes i no reloaded and revolutions were filmed at the same time, they could of at least ended it with all da people looking at destroyed Zion or sumthing no jus the smith copy.. it wuz kinda hard to follow the plot cuz the movie wuz so ****ing dumb..and i said my last post that he shoulda saved Zion and let trinity die, so i no what the **** im talking about. and a question in the preview for revolutions i thought where neo and smith were fighting i thought it wuz in da matrix cuz where would he find all the people to make copies? and i did watch da movie i jus didnt like it cuz it added to many things.. ahem dumbass there wuz 11 votes against it man.. and the 11 is all correst but then again its all about the opinions its jus that ours is right... purpose people who resort to using profanity are the sign of a childish impatient simplistic mind. I would like to respond to numerous postings on the self imposed limitations they presume to be in place in the separation between the matrix and the real world. Neo is breaking down the boundaries between the plugged and the unplugged. The main reason the architect talked to him for so long was because they were trying to keep him occupied during which the machines could blow up the damn ship he was jacked in from. doesn't everyone realize that?, or did they all eat a big bowl of stupid for breakfast. sorry for reacting that way but for small minded intolerant people who don't respect other peoples viewpoints shouldn't respond or read the bbs cuz ur not adding ur subtracting from the true fans that come to discuss the matrix genre in a civil way. Not like some wwf trash talking skit inbetween the fights. I'll say it again but so have others whom i agree with, the first fight was a lil long in the tooth, and neo didn't need to fight agent smith because he doesn't fall into the current goal of getting back and telling the others about the keymaker. He should've just blown off agent smith and then flew off to the nearest phone exit. other than that the recurring distracting concepts of the machine world or programs to put limits on neo of "purpose, choice, and causality" were a good plot twist to bewilder neo and make him feel as if he had no control over his fate again like in the first movie, and we all know how that ended. once neo just tells the programs, machines and architect to go pound sand cuz he isn't limited to the sum of his programing like they are, it'll get really interesting indeed. steps off soap box for 2nd time. next please. Purpose... Choice... Causality... free your mind... there are no limitations of purpose or choice(s) and causality is not prewritten, you write your own future even if neo is the 6th anomoly l.p.m the guy who wants to kill neo is seen 2 time throughout the film. 1 time when he was about stab neo. the 2nd time was at the end on the bench hurt with neo. WELL!!! WHO THE HELL IS HE AND WHY DOES HE WANT TO KILL NEO?? THEDOUGLEr/BATM ok ok the guy at the begining who wants to kill Neo i hate that movie and i still no who it is. OK ok u now how the 2 guys were leaving the matrix and Smith came and copied himself to the one left? well thats the guy. Hes smith but in the guys form in reality. you see and smith is trying to neo neo in reality so Neo cnat kill Smith in da matrix sparkling_mud the guy who was lying next to Neo at the end is a copy of agent smith... remember? Agent Smith tracked those two guys down and then changed one of them into a copy right before the phone rang. That's how he got into the real world. THEDOUGLEr/BATM hey everyone id like to all to post ur opinions ahout this... 0k 0k.. you how Neo sees in code in the matrix? well no since we all found out at the end of the movie Neo can now magically use his powers in reality does he now see things in code in reality or wut?? sparkling_mud no becuase reality is not a computer program unlike the matrix sparkling_mud Originally posted by THEDOUGLEr/BATM hey u blow me , we all have dif opinions of the ****ing movie *******..... and i think you were turned on by all the **** scenes. and since when does Neo have powers? hes not a ****ing super hero hes got himself sum abilities.. and yes i no reloaded and revolutions were filmed at the same time, they could of at least ended it with all da people looking at destroyed Zion or sumthing no jus the smith copy.. it wuz kinda hard to follow the plot cuz the movie wuz so ****ing dumb..and i said my last post that he shoulda saved Zion and let trinity die, so i no what the **** im talking about. and a question in the preview for revolutions i thought where neo and smith were fighting i thought it wuz in da matrix cuz where would he find all the people to make copies? and i did watch da movie i jus didnt like it cuz it added to many things.. ahem dumbass there wuz 11 votes against it man.. and the 11 is all correst but then again its all about the opinions its jus that ours is right... sorry about that rude comment... it was uncalled for... But if you were watching then you should know that Zion hasn't been destroyed yet! And of course it was in the matrix because he can't copy himself in real life! real life is not a computer program! And yeah... so now were left with the decision that Neo made and that he might think he can save the human race... THEDOUGLEr/BATM yea man sry bout the whole blow me thing.. i can get frustrated when i thnk sumthing to b right and others say not i dont usually mean things like that and thx for ur opinion for seeing in code. but u never no trinityflame_fv done worrie about it people should understand that is not very good to diss ones belief even if they dont believe it also but one should understand that what they say will be jugded and be opioned apon. THEDOUGLEr/BATM yo what kinda of soup do u think the gu in the white who fought NEo wuz eating? i thought it wuz whanton or chicken but i wanna no wut u guys r thinking.. it might of even bin pasta... didnt the key guy look liek an older version of the guy in the white? trinityflame_fv which guy in white there are lots of guys in white THEDOUGLEr/BATM the guy who had the key wen neo first met with the oricle matrix_decode If you didnt like this movie your a ******ed fag that craps all over himself by the way did anybody see neos navy blue mococosins im gonna get me a pair of those :D trinityflame_fv Ohh I thought the guy who had the key maker was wearing blackish sliver... the only guys in white were teh twins LMT25 First off I'm a huge Matrix fan but Man, I was so disapointed after I left the theater. Don't get me wrong the movie was alright, but I just didn't get the same feeling as I did from the 1st one. I'm a huge fan and I couldn't wait to see this. I really don't want to get into all the specifics of why I didn't think it was as good as the 1st one but I will vent on one thing. why did they make Neo almost a cartoon through out the most of the movie? I couldn't believe it, I mean it would of been fine to throw it in to a few shots, but he was animated for most of the agent smith fight and everytime he was flying. THat's what made the 1st so sweet, that they used all this insane special effects but the actors were real, it was them, not a cartoon. It looked exactly like Blade from blade II, or Spiderman, or Final Fantasy. That was one of the things that really took the wind out of my sail. I even went back to see it 2 more times to see if maybe I just wasn't getting something or maybe I was just in weird mood when I saw it the first time. My theory is that you just can't top the 1st one because it was so different & mindblowing that you just can't recreate that feeling of oh my god what the f***k did I just see. We're used to it now, and the effects have been copied so may times over in different movies that it's not the new anymore. Anyway, that is just one of many problems I had w/ the movie, but I'm def gonna see Revolutions, still a fan. The brothers still kick ass, I'm dying to know what they'r next project will be. ECCENTRICHOCOBO Does that question really need to be asked?! It was so awesome. I had been waiting for this movie for three years, and i can tell you it was completely worth the wait. It exceeded all my expectations. After I saw the trailer i felt like i knew exactly what was going to happen, but being me i had to see it anyways...i mean it is the matrix for crying out loud! It absolutely blew me away!! I don't understand what people are talking about when they say there wasn't enough story to it...if they put any more in it, i would have exploded. Information in the movie didn't come as often as it did in the original, but when it did, you really had to sit there and think about what they said. And the action was great. It was the perfect balance of action and story. and with the whole story of there not being vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc. in the movie, people really should pay closer attention. Everyone knows that the guard that Prosephone shot as well as his friend were Vampires...there was even a vampire movie playing in the background. The Twins were definately poltergiests. the movie was absolutely perfect. i could not even think after i saw it, it blew me away. life seemed so dull afterwards, and if the third is supposed one and two out of the water...combinde...i wont know what to do with myself bombchaser I enjoyed the movie very much. It was very deep and I think the love scene will play out in the third and final movie, ala terminator maybe. (can they reallt stop at three?) I liked the fight scenes and found that as NEO grew in experience the challenges grew. The challnge at the end of the movie was interesting, I really would like a transcript of him and the creator to make full heads and tails of it though. If you didn't like it you didn't get most of it, if you did like you are intriqued at the possible different twists the final will most likely bring. :) CycLonE trully great movie.... 5 stars for me :) bucho4321 I think the movie was pretty good. I loved the first one. I saw it about a dozeb times in the theater and own the movie on VHS and DVD and seen them at home well over 250 times. I guess I hyped myself up for this one too much because it wasn't what I expected. The fight scenes did look the same as in the fisr movie and Neo's and Trinity's love scene wasn't necessary in the movie. The highway scene was very well done though and I love the twins. But the cloning Agent Smith got on my nerves. THEDOUGLEr/BATM k first thing decode.... thats completely uncalled for using that kinda of shi t language is not right. everyone institle to our opinions.. like mine i didnt like the movie... and trinity flame what kind of soup u think the guy wuz eating? MatrixGirl If it is to be describled with only one word...I say it's PERFECT matrix_decode ok dougy shut up your stupid if you didnt like the movie i guess that means your r e t a r d e d MatrixGirl was it for me Matrix_Decode? deadcalm The movie was even better than I anticipated. It was great. Thumbs up all the way!!!!!!!!;) ;) ;) sparkling_mud Originally posted by THEDOUGLEr/BATM yo what kinda of soup do u think the gu in the white who fought NEo wuz eating? i thought it wuz whanton or chicken but i wanna no wut u guys r thinking.. it might of even bin pasta... didnt the key guy look liek an older version of the guy in the white? I have a question dougler... WHY THE HELL DOES IT MATTER???? THEDOUGLEr/BATM i wanna no thats y it matters... Nikon I loved the movie, "what a mind job" when I saw the ending I was like whoa! I can't wait to see the conclusion. THEDOUGLEr/BATM you thought "To be concluded" wuz just amazing? djbango seen it 3 times, I loved it....BTW I never seen a movie in the theater 3 times. frost this movie kikd some major ass. made me speculate a lot mroe again when i watch the first one, even after seeing it about 100 times. besides maybe perfecting that CGI, i dont see how they could have made the movie better. Definitly gunna make the third one a huge hit. And yes, trinity is still damn hot. TheDrakemaster Revolutios will be too. JakeNewman I like Reloaded but mostly because of the high quality of the first film which endeared me to the characters and the plot. It was nice to see all of the characters again and the added twists made it even more enjoyable such as Smith's cloning ability. I felt there were too many non-matrix scenes and this lead to long sections of dialogue which in my view could have been cut down (unless of course the next film depends on them). The special effects were overall fantastic but I really got bored with the freeway chase. Once you've seen the agent jumping across the cars (which I'd seen in the trailer anyway) and you've seen everyone firing at each other, 14 mins of this became a bit tedious. Although the quality of the SFX were very high I still feel there is some work needed to the human animations/models. In some of the SFX shots Neo's coat changes texture and looks too shiny, also, in the 100 Smiths vs Neo scene the faces of the agents look very 'perfect', smooth and computery - Don't get me wrong though, this is still the best film I've seen for ages and the SFX are still leagues above other films. Some of the things that happened in the film were confusing, needed further explaining and/or are impossible to understand until Matrix:Revolutions. If this was the intent of the cliff-hanger suspense throughout the film, the little holes in the plot (which in my view were not present in the first film) and the abrupt ending, then congratulations to Warners because I will certainly be going to see the final sequel in November. Jake alex/eyesonzion i was absolutely blown away by the film. in my opinion it improved on the already phenomenal original. the people i was with said 'the fight scenes were too animated' and the plot was 'over complicated'. I dont agree with this in the slightest. the fight scenes were amazing, "ive never scene a fight scene even half as good as the ones from reloaded. it just makes you appreciate the amount of work that goes into it. i felt it had a very very intriguing plot and leads us into part 3 very well. i dont think the 'sex scene' was reallty unnecessary, it was there to show the human side to neo, to show he's not just some superhero, and it totally makes sense, because it is his human side that makes him choose to go back in. i can't beleive anyone would be dissapointed with this filom, it was evrything id hoped for and loads more. it wasnt the obvious plot choice, i was actualy shocked at what happened, i hadnt expected it. i need to see it again roll on nov 7th! Anomaly I've been here for awhile, but this will be my first posting. I have nothing to say of the movie except the obvious, it was outstanding. My only gripe is with movie fanatics that believe a movie can't be enjoyed without understanding it's "purpose". The movie was made to entertain, and for the most part I believe that is what it has done for everyone. I for the most part don't regularly envolve myself in the heated debates, but i have enjoyed some doozies on this forum. I believe the reloaded movie will continue the aged debate of what is the matrix, and if Neo is truly The One. Which are all and good, but please people just love the movie...:) alex/eyesonzion i think its rather obvious from the film that neo is The One DarkOne 9/10 rating, would have been 10/10 except for the dance scene. Nothing to do with the story line. chilly Hey Antihero- in purity, I'm talking about the idea of the film! For someone who says they "hated" the thing, It was "terrible", blah blah, you must have been hanging onto every word and scannin the screen to be able to pick it apart as neatly as you do. I garner you're a closet Matrix fan, but chose to hide your admiration of the brothers as hate. chilly:p Kelly Hey guys! I'm Kelly and I come from Greece! I recently saw the Matrix Reloaded and I just..LOVED IT! I think this site's gonna be cool!:o Spawn V2.0 Hey Guys! Just watched MatrixReloaded .. and gawd damn the film OWNED! IMO, i think they over did the flying part but that was cool ... the kissing partS was a bit immature .. overall the film was a blast  .. cant wait to see matrix Revolutions  Nice to be at this forums. :) its looking to be a great forum ... BigBadAd i didnt like it TheDrakemaster This is to all people using dark-blue to type their replies. It's difficult to read!;) Spawn V2.0 SOrry about that ;) eRider Love that movie .. I would say, worth all the money, except the ending, which i think sucked .. Hate that kind of endings where we have to wait ages to see how it all goes .. The actions sequences, ESPECIALLY the carchase, was the best in a movie, no doubt about it ! chilly eRider- agree w/ you on the chase scene. And I love the tension releasing comment Link makes right after it. iamatwin blaa CloudStrife good movie except for dance sceen CloudStrife the chase sceene was one of the best i have seen flanish come now cousin, the dance scene was fine. well except one part TheDrakemaster One of the coolest fighting scenes was the one with Morpheus fighting the twins with his blade; everytime he stabs them they going ethereal was a blast. Ofcourse the opening with Trinity falling down was also simply amazing!:D iamatwin yo every1 geotis5 I am surprised at how many people think the dance and love scenes were unnecessay. I think that with the movie so full of computers and machinery and trying to wrap your brain around what and who's real, it reminds us of who we are. Emotions....joy,pleasure,sex.........it's everything human. It's everything Neo fights for. It's everything the machines can't understand. That's why the matrix has been built before unsuccessfully. Because the machines don't understand that humans don't always follow reason. wheresbobcarlso The movie was off tha chain. (How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call!!!!) Romeo's hack i think my fav part would b between the highway scene and de fight scene wit neo and de smiths cos they are full of action and one cant bear 2 take their eyes of de screen skye_child I thought it was INCREDIBLE! I left with so many questions my head was spinning. I am going to see it again soon and probably often before Revolutions comes out. There are so many directions this could take... Romeo's hack yeah me too ill see it more times since i got a wee bit lost wheresbobcarlso In my opinion, the best sceen was when Neo was flying to save Trinity, and the faster he went the buildings would ripple and he had a huge wake of cars behind him!!! But who he is, is I!!! wheresbobcarlso I agree, I love it when thee movies leave me with tons of questions. Over-all, the movie kicked MAJOR A**!!!!! Good evening Mr. Anderson.(Agent Smith) sonofzion i loved this movie. i believe this trilogy is/will be star wars for a new generation. (sorry george) the only thing i find frustrating is the enormous amount of information we are given, especially at the end of the movie w/ architect. it is obviously done on purpose to get 2nd and 3rd time viewers, but i don't mind seeing it again and again and again.........:D NeoRevolution have no f*cking words for this movie!!..i could wath it over and over again!!!! ...the fact that i've to watch it more times to get it!!!...wow! cypher_kj Fantastic movie...Neo & Trinity's scenes were expectedly lovey but worked very well and were necessary in my opinion. Have seen it twice and will be there @ the IMAX when it is released here in Manchester UK...THE movie of 2003...until Novemeber of course...OMG how sick was the car chase & fight!!!!!!! & as before Mentioned Link's "YES!!" made the film for me...HAVE IT!! Love & Peace yall...unless Zion needs me then I'll be kicking some ass Kev from SPAREHED 3 i did think the movement in the burly brawl scene could have been animated better though...but naff to it...THIS MOVIE ROCKS DeLaSalleBoy14 Hey Everyone, I saw it and loved it. It was a great middle story. I watched the first one a few times now since I saw the second and i kinda missed all of the new action. I do still believe however that the first one is better. But thats the story of most movies. The Agent Smith What a great movie it was! I saw it opening night here (which was the 14th) and again the Saturday of the same week. Great middle movie, and it will be interesting to see how the 3rd movie ties in with the 2nd and the 1st. The Wachowski Bros are geniuses and they prove that you don't always need a master's degree in order to be a force to be reckoned with!:) :) TheDrakemaster Good idd. Raziel85 Ya definitely that movie was off the hizzle shnizzle, totally shiznack. LOL. It was cool, i loved every minute of it. Methelael I liked the movie, hence, I gave it the Thumbs up! Some people say it didn't live up to the hype, but I digress....I loved every minute all the times I watched it... :D smith1  totally amazing. it has been awhile sence i saw the 1st matrix but blows my mind. the fight scenes where incredible and i personally thought that the creator of the matrix looks like the KFC guy. loved the smiths. all in all an amazing movie that you cant just see once. Niva :D I LOVED IT :D I cannot wait until November to see Revolutions.....:D Downstreamer This movie rocked, so it was worth the four year wait. :) Drain i watche dit the day it came out loved it so much i watched it the very next day..such a mind boggling film....i got someone to send me a copy of it on cd too. :D CANT WAIT TILL REVOLATION :D machine'sghost Hi! I just saw this movie and so had to get on here to say how amazing this movie is!! I really liked the first one, but reloaded goes so far beyond it. I thought the first one had alot of kinda-immature rebellion- like, yeah, no one likes paying taxes, everyone criticizes cops, these are accepted rebellious outles. But where do we really go from there? Wow, reloaded really continues the idea! We get to examine the very idea of choice and what it is to make one- and how almost everything can be used to support the "system" we are trying to be free from. I particularly liked the idea of choice in lifestyle, as we saw in zion, where things weren't posh or easy, but the people really valued that "free" way of life so much (which we saw in the dancing scene). I thought this complemented the quantity vs. quality problem that neo faced when he had to chose between the human race and trinity- a nice thing to keep in mind in our consumerist "system". thanks! Unplugged Agent Originally posted by xirtam OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! I agree that the sex part was stupid and not even important to the plot. how can anybody say that unless they know how the story ends? who are you to say that if neo and trinity had a child, that it wouldn't play a vital role in the future of the matrix? Unplugged Agent oh yeah, and it also sets up the fact that Neo will do anything to save Trinity Downstreamer Well put Unplugged Agent. :) TheDrakemaster agree,..., I guess.:o smith1 i agree with unplugged agent i think it is so cool that he would do anything to save trinity i wish i had a guy like that digital_angel The beginning was wicked-awesome. I disagree that Neo and Trinity will have an important child because Neo is the One. The entire Matrix trilogy is focused on him. P.S.- Just my luck that I HAVE a guy like him! :D Methelael That's nice to know, Digital... I sometimes wish my one will come to me....but lately I've been stuck messing around with the hypocrites... :D digital_angel It's best to go with life-long friends. I've known my b/f since kindergarten! Downstreamer Ladies, ladies... This isn't a dating service, so please take the relationship chatter down a notch. We're all here to discuss our the thoughts opinions about the Matrix, not our girlfriends or in your cases boyfriends. :D Niva Hey isn't this the Matrix Dating Service:confused:  JUST KIDDING:D:D TheDrakemaster ? ? Methelael You and me both, Drake......you and me both..... :D TheDrakemaster :p Gaeta First off, congratulations to the Wachowski's ( I hope i spelled that right). It takes wonderful minds to envision this orderly chaos that we love to see. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. As far as the love scene between Neo and Trinity, I think it is necessary to a degree. For myself, I felt that it was a bit drawn out, a little too long. But, that is a moot point. i must say the visual effects were once again on target. I think it's wonderful that there is a refreshing sense to the fight scenes shown in the matrix movies. Anyway, I have a question. This whole movie, to me, revolved around old programs, dinosaurs of the machines if you will. These programs, however, found a way to survive, to avoid deletion. My question is this......what happened to the old matrix? Was it destroyed? Was it damaged, yet able to continue on? The matrix is a program, after all. Help on this would be enlightening. TheDrakemaster I think you can get your explanation from the architect scene. samurai I think the movie was awsome¡ It really had me on the edge of my seat AND I think this site is too. Thanks you guys to make it happen, it`s so interesting; By the way, Why there isn`t any "code", or more "metalic" things, Something to make me feel I`m in a Matrix site? Downstreamer I think that this movie is the best thing since the human brain! It was like riding a roller coaster! You didn't know what was going to happen next, it blew my mind away and gave me a greater understanding of: 1. The Matrix 2. A.I. 3. Perhaps our future 4. An excellent movie with great acting! I loved this movie, and I hope that all of those real fans out there buy the movie when it comes out on VHS and DVD. It's worth every cent! :) Baz :D well i gotta say i absolutly,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,loved it it was excellent de action romance comedy was class a1 :D and i cant just wait for revolutions Ne0 how can you not like matrix reloaded Nebber Knezzer This is an awesome film with the fight scenes a lot longer than last time.Another good point is that nothing like dodging bullets, JUST fighting Agents etc. It has new special effects that r awesome (car/bike chase is top) so nothin is the same, hell even Smith has evolved lol :D. Only bad points r the new characters roles in the play. The twin were kool but seemed 2 go wen it wuz getting good,Niobe didnt seem 2 have much of an effect on the film plus Personephe's husband did not take out Neo as he did his ancestor's,as he promised, i just hope that Wachowski Brothers know this and make the 3rd installment betta.Despite having flaws the good points slaughter the bad ones apart from,in my opinion one real bad point...the end,i aint tlking bout Neo and Smith in a coma but those three words To be (not 2 bad) CONCLUDED (nooooooo :( ) lol Almost guarantees the end is near...hope it aint rushed TwinsvsMorpheus I absolutely loved thtis film, it was a spectacular mixture of greatness and wicked awesome ness!!! Although my unkind hearted brother gave it a horrible review i told him to screw off and i personly thought this was the best movie of the year!!!! the wachowski brothers deserve an award or somthing, this movie kicks all ass! TheDrakemaster It deserves more than one award. :D be4682 Hey that was great but they could have made it end like the first one... the ending was poor be4682 Hey that was great but they could have made it end like the first one... the ending was poor wheresbobcarlso DUDE!!!!!!! SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!! TheDrakemaster Why was the ending poor? WRHaxen He was dissapointed with the cliffhanger. WRHaxen The ending in M2 just made me want to see M3 even more. corrupt97 So did i. i was a bit dissaponted at M2s ending made me want to see M3 lots 4nT1 Simply put this is an amazing movie which expands the cinematic horizons of both what we now expect from a movie and what we now expect from a story. When I think Matrix 1 & 2 I think wow, amazing, cool fight scenes, cool cgi, but 1st class story that keeps both myself and everyone else on this forum enthralled and enthused about these movies, the makers and the next and final installment of the trillogy. be4682 It was a nice movie.. only the part Neo fight so many Agent Smith Didnt seem too real! When they turned out more than 100, I still dont understand why he is always so prone to danger after meeting "The old lady", could someone explain ;) Finding Neo The movie kicked major A$$! How could you not like it? Here are some reasons way you may not of liked it: 1. You didn't understand it. 2. You were in a pissy mood. 3. Too busy making out with your girlfriend to enjoy it. 4. Didn't see the 1st Matrix. 5. You don't like thinking into a movie. The next one will be even better! "How far down the rabbit hole will you go?" corrupt97 Originally posted by Finding Neo "How far down the rabbit hole will you go?" As far as it goes! ImmortalDeath :D lol.......M2 was great. I was "happy crying " the whole time. hahaha Henrique Simply the BEST MOVIE EVER!!! (Actually i havent decided if it is better than the first, but, in Neo´s words: "Whoa!") TheDrakemaster I enjoyed it more than the first one, because it's all bigger and more complicated and so on... Yet that doesn't make M1 worse, cause M1 was simply a magnificant movie. flicc I did what I did Because .......................... (Morpheus) He believe Neo is the One !!!! Ryan_Matrix I think the movie was great, do not listen to other people who say it`s false or anything. Sylver The Matrix Reloaded is fantastic! It is much better than the first part. The music is SUPER, the special effect as well. What can I say? It's the best movie ever!!! Go Matrix! Hoodlumhavoc It was a great movie... But the ending was horrible. Niva I think why alot of people r saying that the ending sucked, is because it left u on a cliff, wanting more. Then knowing u HAVE TO wait 6 months to see Revolutions......... TheDrakemaster The end also gives you so much information in like 10 minutes, that it's difficult to swallow it all at once. The end also gives a whole new meaning to the matrix than before. be4682 OK, remember in the first movie these guys used to use phone to go back home, i saw such a thing in the second movie but it was only in one scene. Now i need to know .. there were these two guys, unfortunately one of them didnt manage to go & Smith did whatever he does to him, then he picked the phone call. What happened? :D Keney Jandson Originally posted by Niva I think why alot of people r saying that the ending sucked, is because it left u on a cliff, wanting more. Then knowing u HAVE TO wait 6 months to see Revolutions......... Not speak english is now! Amphion Ow...my head hurts. Despite the fact that it was better than the first one, it is far too annoying an ending and I think they should release Revolutions as a matinee so you can watch Reloaded and then Revolutions immediately after one another. There are so many questions left open after this film and the trailer for Revolutions at the end only made more questions! Could it be any more frustrating? NOTHINGISREAL The movie is one such thrill in Malaysia. It has made a lot ppl asking themselves what the heck is happening.Well, some of us understands the movie as we watch the part 1 all the time...i do...do you? well, cool effects but do ya know, those movies nowadays are following the matrix freeze mode style...which kinda er...spoilt the matrix reloaded..as like we all know what gonna happen....when neo or trinity perform a stunt..still bravo and thumbs up Well,a little dissapointing is the CG side....even my aunt would say it looks different when Neo is fighting with a lot of clones...Agent Smith. It looks like cartoon....which i burst out laughing.Well,u guys made the points...i give thumbs up... but...have u notice there isnt any more...fast fisting scene anymore?I mean like the one...agent smith hit Neo on the train station with a lot of punches? I watch the trailer for the lastest installment...i hope i will be a grant blockbuster...which malaysia really like this kinda movies.. M>A>T>R>I>X>R>U>L>E>S The soundtrack is nice too....i brought the cd....hehe...crazy fan marquesa You see the movie for it's content not for the fight scenes .. i lovedddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd the movie soo much that i can't stop thinking about it. Thumbs down?? come on!! does must be the ones that didn't get the movie idea .. mazman Anyone who didnt like Reloaded.... ARE YOU CRAZY??????!!!!??? Its not so much a movie as it is a mind-blowing experience!!! And why are you here if you didnt like it? TheDrakemaster Well, marquesa, I like the ideas behind the matrix, but the fighting scenes are very important, because they are simply amazing. The concept can't stand without the tension brought by the cool action scenes and vice versa. With other words, the movie was great as it was. marquesa Don't get me wrong the fight scenes are essencial for the correct idea of the movie .. but if you see a movie only for the fighting scenes then rent a segal movie :P he he .. once again just kidding TheDrakemaster I know you were kidding and you are right that there is more behind the film than the fighting, but I understand people wanting to see it for the fighting scenes, because that wasn't just action, but art. marquesa ART?? yes . . it was (in my modest opinon) perfection :) but everyone who went to see it for the fight scenes .. don't judge the book by it's cover... kat yea i luved da film 2 but i thought they didn't reali explain the new characters that much.....an the scene wif niobe blowin up that power plant....i was wayyyy confused:confused:     it was absolutely excellent tho expecially after neo seeks the oracle that kicked ass!! the music is totally excellent an trinity was well boss on that motor bike also keanu looked sooo hot!! he's dam fine! i didn't get the bit were neo, trinity et al r walkin 2 go bak 2 the neb an then sum guy cums up behind him with a knife....y was the guy cuttin his hand in the first place????? i fought that bit was wierd....the special effects were excellent aswell but wen he's fightin all those agent smiths it looks 2 fake...his jacket especially!but it doesn't bother me that much! i think the film has been takin over abit by romance were as it shud b total kick ass action but it was still cute i thought the whole "i love u too dam much" was 2 cheesy. other than that it was absolutley brilliant!!!!! i've seen it 7 times now so i undastand it fully (mums not 2 happy about me spendin all that munee tho:mad: ) its a 5 star film deff... Seriph Only one thing to say. A-FREAKIN-MAZING!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE. Thumbs WAY WAY up! RedViper I agree, hoodlumhavoc.. the ending could have been done a little better... Otherwise the movie was so brilliant... it had a balance with everything, I think... Just beautiful! TheDrakemaster I liked the ending: The whole architect scene with all the Neo screens and then Neo saving Trinity, stopping the Sentinels and then winding up in coma next to Bane/Smith. -->What more do you want? beenniehut Easily one of the best films ever made. the story the action the whole persona is just brilliant. much rather watch relaoded than citizen cane! RedViper Well, yes I liked the whole architect speech and everything about choice.. but the very ending, with neo and the sentinels is what I didn't love so much TheDrakemaster I actually liked it and the sentinelblock tasted like more. And more is on it's way in November, so that's allright. Finding Neo Originally posted by RedViper Well, yes I liked the whole architect speech and everything about choice.. but the very ending, with neo and the sentinels is what I didn't love so much That's showing Neo's real life power. Hinting to another reason why he is the one. Only EP could stop the sentinels before. kat Originally posted by Finding Neo That's showing Neo's real life power. Hinting to another reason why he is the one. Only EP could stop the sentinels before. yea like how can neo do that??? do he hav the emp inside him now? i said 2 sum1 else that maybe wen he jumped inside smith in M1...as smith says in M2 that sumthin of neo had copied onto him and had made him a "free man" dya think that maybe sumthin |
