Best place to sit at the cinema!?

Where do you think is the best place to sit whilst at the cinema?

I think the best place is either middle back, or middle middle...

but i guess it all depends on the seating at your cinema... all i can say is that the front sucks! The sides are kind of ok... but nothing beats the middle middle!

... if you don't know what i mean... well... umm.... you're doooooooomed!:confused:

Yes, middle definetly. I like both middle middle and back middle. my problem is just that the last two times I wen to the movies I was late and had to sit in the second row. that really sucks!!!

I guess I agree with funky horror because when you sit in the back middle and it's a big theater you might be too far away.

I like to sit just a few rows ahead of middle middle. Seems to be my sweet spot for speaker aiming and less bodies to stand up in front of me. :)

i'm seeing reloaded tomorrow night at 6:45pm and i'm gonna get there at about 5pm, hehe, i want a good seat i tells ya!:D

As far as left to right, Gotta be the middle! As for front to back, I like somewhere bewteen the middle and front. I want the screen to take up most of my field of view, but a don't want to have to look up.

if its stadiumseating or regular they both rule. But the back is the best

I cant stand regular seating, it has to be stadium. With stadium I dont mind as long as im in the middle, but anywhere from middle to back if fine. I hate it when you cant see, even only a little, of the bottom of the screen because you are sitting behind a tall person!!! So tall people: GO TO THE BACK!!!

That is the best place, plus you can throw your trash right behind you and no1 will ever know, except the people cleaning up.

i sit about 6 rows from the very frontdirect middle

noise people tend to sit at the back, stadium seating has to be there or its not worth going... i hate tall people! (even though i'm one of them, hehe) and yes...

the best place 2 sit is in the very front row!!! jk

we have this great cinema. The seats are all at different levels behind each other, you can see great wherever you sit. I have to agree though that middle middle is the best wherever you are.

Optimize for sound. Look at where the surround speakers are in the theater and make sure the ones which are supposed to be in front of you are in front of you and the ones which are supposed to be behind you are behind you.
