Check this out please

I know that this is going to sound really stupid(you probably all know how to do this and I am just a lame brain) but can anyone tell me how to get my pic up with my signature?? I have been trying for days... nothing comes up. I have my pic on my website... you can check it out at http://www.geocities.com/aquinasreloaded/welcome.html
and then tell me what to do next because I am completely clueless!! The one I want to use is the first one which is flashing Matrix.

firstly you need to get your picture hosted somewhere that allows remote linking (www.sharemation.com for example) and then put [ i m g ]url of the picture/where it's hosted[ / i m g ] and then it should work. :) (without the spaces in the url vB code)

I'm not sure, but wouldn't it have to be the [i m g] tags instead if the [u r l] ones?

There still seems to be a problem though Aquinas, I'm getting a sharemation login dialog whenever I load a page that contains your image (in the signature). I'd suggest you find a way to disable that because it's pretty annoying to be honest ;).

Hey, I did the sharemation thing and I got my graphic up, but whenever anyone clicked on a page that had one of my posts on it, some sharemation log-in box poped up. Do you know how I can fix this?? I am guessing you might, since you directed me to the site.Thanks;)

you have to enable the 'sharing' of the picture you are linking to. Log in, and in the directory where the pic is located, there will be a picture of a hand infront of something, or something along those lines, click on that. Then a thing should come up about who can access the file and such. It needs to be public for you to remotely link to it. If what i just said makes no sense, PM me and i'll try help. :)

also, i meant to put the img code, not url, my mistake.

Thanks funkyhorror. I actually had thought about doing that late last night as I was lying in bed, but it was to late for me to get up and check it out. It looks like it's working...;)

Go to sharemation, and become a member. Once you do that, login and look along the top for the upload tool. Once you upload it, click on share... made it public... then take your address that your pic is on in put it in [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] tags with no spaces. I don't know if that was your question but here it is anyways.
