Neat little fact about The Matrix.

Real world scenes are tinged with a blue lens on the camera.. scenes within the Matrix have a slight green tinge.

that is pretty darn neat. i hear they used the same thing in #2
for scenes inside the matrix.

Actually Mag... They chose a green tinge because nature is "green".. :rolleyes:

really? i woulda thought it would tie in with the whole "green-ness" of the binary of the matrix...can you change the font color of the matrix now? LOL

fluro green is such a cool colour, and works well with dark colours...

Another thing about the movie - why so many bunnies? The tattoo on the girl's arm in the beginning - the whole rabbit-hole thing, and then the giant rabbit movie in the waiting room with the oracle. Anyway, just a little thing.

I think the reson why they chose the green tinge is because it makes things look mor machanitcal. The blue makes things lighter and more natural. I dont know just an idea.

well they were smart to think of it... next time i watch the movie i'm going to look out for it!

I wonder if the agents are goning to make more of them selves to counter attack Neo's forces. Just to me, it looks as if the agents are just a little tanner than every body else.

Do you really think that they used a tinted lens, or do you think they instead just used regular film on everything and just tinted the scenes after the fact?

That seems a little more practical. But I am no Wac brother. :)

It would be easier, faster, and cost less money if they were to use tinted lenses. If they added it in later then it would cost them digital fixing. They already use the computers alot, why not keep somethings to the cheap ways that still look high tech??? I have always been short on money and have always had a budget so I know if it has to be high tech then you ahve to go it but if not then why waste the money when you could add another special effect instead??

They used a tinted lense. And the green was for the original classic computer. They had green color :) (they like older computers :))

I think they have a fascination for alice in wonderland too (btw... there's another movie you should look deeply into, there's quite a few interesting themes)

If I recall correctly, wouldn't green be the reverse (after effect) of wearing red-tinted glasses?. Remember, he *did* swallow the red pill after all.

(Put something tinted red in front of your eyes for a while then remove it.) The guys who scripted this put an astounding amount of thought into it.
