MAOM--Matrix And Other Matricies

Is it possible for more than one Matrix to exist that's not connected to one another, but several spread out on different parts of the planet connected to different crops?

Why not... sorta like how there's computers in a network, but then there's billions of infividual networks throughout the world.

Exactly. Each powerplant controls a separate matrix.

I think you are right,eblah2. that would explain why everytime the matrix rebots, the machines don't die due to a lack of power.

I suppose that would mean there would be other Zion's then too?

I always wondered about this.

I mean say you have a population of 5 billion ppl all over the world. Are you telling me that there would be only 1 Place (Zion) that the survivors or freed mind would go.

I mean I would guess the machines took over the whole planet right. so it would be wise as there population is huge to have battery plants all over the world. now what if some mind gets freed in China. how would they get to Zion?? they must be another place with more humans.

Also this is assuming the machines didnt take over the entire world (which probably isnt the case) but say they took over the US.. would that mean that China for example is still populated by humans.

It's possible that there could be other matrixes, but then would it be the same architect building them all? Would they all be controlled by machines, or another life form???

Well it does seem that the machines took over the entire planet... after all, why would they be so focused on Zion if China's still intact. Would seem that the bigger threat is the 2 billion people in China over the 250,000 people in Zion.

The first thing Crash_override mentioned makes sense... unless of course the machines killed a majority of Earth's population, and once the humans surrendered when they knew it was impossible to win, the machine's hooked up those few people to the Matrix. They then could have began growing humans.

YES! -making fist- I've been stating this for weeks. Your the first to agree with me. And not only that, but we have come to the same conclusion with out interaction on the subject. Thats awesome.

I do konw that the game "The Matrix Online" takes place after Revolutions in the overall time line. I have seen some screen shots of it, and it's obviousley in a reality based in an environment of an innercity around the time of 2000A.D. If all of this is true, then it could only mean one of two possiblities. 1) Neo failed.:mad: or 2) there are duplicate matracies.:)

or 3) The humans either beat the machines or live together in harmony with them (The Oracle - "...And I know the only way to get through this is together...") but they can't unplug everyone at once b/c Earth doesn't have enough resources for such a mass emergence of people.

The game is supposed to deal with something like two opposing human factions striving for control in the Matrix. Should be interesting.
