Who here has read the "Ender's Game" series by Orson Scot Card?

its only the best series ever!!!!! ask WildCard about it, he'll aggree! its about kids 7-13 yrs old that fight a war against alians and save the world!

Yeah, I read it in high school, it was a decent book series where orphans were whisked away to a governmental facility, trained in war and then told to play video games.

They didn't know it but the kids were really acting generals in some war with an alien race and the video games they were playing were really the way the troops were told what to do and how to attack.

So the kids had no guilt or hangups about killing the enemy or trying new things, the troops had no idea they were being told what to do by kids.

Interesting concept.

Yeah, I've read all but the last two books. It's an awsome series. It's a little serious though but still good!

I've read the first book, but then the library stopped getting them! I was beginning to think I was the only person out there who read them.
