Last part a Dream

Does anyone think like me that the last part could be Neo dreaming again, just like the start of the movie? I think MIM is a posibility but it's too obvious, not Wachowski like, I think Neo being in the Matrix has gained the ability to predict based on the last information. Neo EMPing the centinels is just a distraction. I also read that 60% of the Revolutions would happen in the Real World.

Good day to all
Dusk

man, 60 percent??? NOOO!!!
smithkicksazz

i can see 60% of the movie in the real world. There will probally be a lot of scense with hoover crafts emping sentnials and the use of the robotish type exosuit l(ike the one in aliens) fighting the sentnials. this should be very interesting to watch when it comes out.

I agree that a large part of Revolutions will take place in the real world although I don't think it will be as high as 60 percent. I would say about 35-40 percent could be in the real-world. The combat between the sentinels and the Zionists will make for some very sweet sequences. I hope for the best of said situation.
Dusk

I really hope its not 60 percent...

I'm not a huge fan of ign but it's where I usually update, here is the address if someones interested. It's a inteview with Laurence Fishburn

I was watching the Enter the Matrix revolutions trailer, and it seems like it would be a lot of the real world, the surface, the fields, the sewers.
keymaker_0

60? Hmmm, a lot, but that place seems to be cool. :)

Well, I don't know was he dreaming about stopping those sentinels.. Because, how he would accidentally be in somekind of coma without doing that? :)
Odin

I didn't think of that, I wonder if it was a dream, that seems a little normal to be a bros. making. Same with the MiM thing. If M3 is based in the real world mostly I think that wouldn't be that bad. There will probably be a fight with Neo and Smith in the real world, you gotta remember that even in the real world Neo knows all of his moves. And the way it's going he will probably be able to do the same stuff he does in the matrix.
NightHawk

i dont want it to be 60%. Maybe about 40, but not 60. I dont wanna see neo in those old clothes...
eblah2

yep, I'm afraid the matrix crew did admit to M3 being 60 percent in the realworld. And there's an all out 17 minute battle scene that took up 30 percent of the $300 million combined budget for M2 & M3.
NightHawk

17 minutes?? 30%??AHHH i cant wait till november........Why are they doing this to us..
eblah2

I know they're driving us mad.

Dude, the fleet was wiped up when Bane/Smith tripped the EMP before the Fleet was in position. The only ships left are the Hammer and the Logos--according to the Capt of the Hammer. Except I think Roy Jones Jr. (Capt Ballard) may have made it--but thats based on the lame "script" that was posted on this site.

I don't think that the last part is a dream. Doesn't make sense, does it?

neo was rescued from his cocoon by morpheus in M1; he is human.

the laws of physics apply in the Real World.

therefore neo *should* not be able to EMP the machines in the real world.

imho, its either a dream (unlikely) or -- at the end of M2 -- its a matrix-created virtual zion to confuse them. (MiM)

neo said 'something feels different' ; perhaps he is feeling the fact that its not real....

thoughts anyone?

I don't think the end sequence is a dream. I think that what is happening is that the "real world" is still part of the Matrix. That would explain two things:

First, it explains Neo's premonitions (dreams) on the ship that are validated by the oracle.

Second, it explains his ability to destory the robots.

I think the reason that Neo felt that things were different is that he is slowly coming into his own. He is gaining more and more abilities. In M1, we see a Neo who is slower than Morpheus, but gradually grows into being the One.

In M2 we see Neo flying within the Matrix and starting to have premontions in the "real world". Finally, we see him having powers in the "real world" similar to those that he has in the Matrix.

Much was made of Neo believing in himself in M1. If he doesn't believe that he has abnormal abilities outside the Matrix, then he wouldn't experiment with trying to deveop abilities. But some of his abilities just eventually come to him (such as the dreams), so maybe as time is progressing, Neo is discovering the truth... that the rabbit hole goes deeper than anyone suspects!

Anyway, if the Matrix is deeper, it also explains the traitor in Zion who attempts to assonate Neo and who destroys Zion's ships prematurely. The traitor could be a program rather than an image of a human.

I cant explain the bolts, but if you really think about it, thats still a good 1 hour in the matrix. And i mean, if you take out that battle, its allmost 50 50. Also, i believe that the prophecy could be for the real world. And that there is a source in the real world that neo has to go to.

If Neo really has his powers outside of the Matrix is cool!

The Oracle: "...a program can either choose to hide here, or return to The Source."
Neo: "The machine mainframe?"
The Oracle: "Yes. Where you must go...."

So the Source is the machine mainframe, and the mainframe is THE main computer, in the Real World, that runs the Matrix.

And THAT is where Neo has to go...

I no longer think it would be a dream, although it could is unlikely I also don't like the idea of MIAM I'm actually leaning toward the concept of Neo being now inside the matrix with a resident program and in the real world.
