amount of time with the Arc

When Neo was talking to the Arc the camera flashed to the exterior of building he was in . It showed three or four red orange flashes on the windows then it went back to either Neo talking to the Arc or Trinity shutting down the power and dealing with the Agents.
Anyway I have seen the movie three times and couldn't figuire out what I was looking at there. Then it hit me ! Neo's conversation happenned at a faster pace than Trinity's fight with the Agents. While he was talking to the Arc we could see Trinity falling out of the building shooting at the agent on the background monitors. Neo didn't seem to be in a hurry even pausing at the door to say that the Arc had better hope they don't meet again.
Also, I was wondering why the building blew up anyway since they cut the power to the alarms.

From what I have seen of Mprpheus' speech and the gameplan, I thought that the plan was to have the power off so Neo could GET INTO the source. There was nothing said about what would happen when he left. Logically, an alarm will sound no matter what, if an armed doot is opened from the inside or outside. Neo was in that chamber more than long enough to have the power and security systems in the building reset.

i thought the building blew up because of neo flying too fast...

I've seen Reloaded again today and saw the damn scene... the alarm is back after Neo finish his conversation, and the alarm made the buiding explode, remember it's a level that doesen't exist, and we can assume that the machines have the control to blow up the buiding, with the alarm...
