My question is this:
The Matrix assumes that the machines (this supreme AI driven society). However, if this AI is so superior to human intelligence, and their society equally more superior: how come they are still subject to corruption?
In theory, when a human creates artificial intelligence, it would be to make up for a lack of certain qualities in the intelligence of humans in a whole: to create the perfect mind. Corruption via power has always been a flaw in human society, so why would we assume that this would plague a society of artificial life? Are we so sure, so perfectly absolute, that we can assume an artificial intelligence would also include this deadly flaw?
Who's to say? And I don't know if this made a lot of sense, it was just on my mind when I was examining this board.
