Been Chatting to a friend recently i met in US in 2001 he has had little to do with the making of the matrix 2 - 3 but had quite a bit to do with the computer work in the first one. Anyway he has explained a few things he says he knows. In the matrix 2 the architect says about 5 previous matrix versions and 5 zions, he also mentions the oracle is a programme "The mother of the matrix" We also see neo has powers out of the matrix now when he stops squiddy. Well this is because zion is another programme used too fool the 1% that would not take to the matrix agent smith is now a stand alone programme which runs in the construct not the matrix like neo.

dont want to cause any probs but I think I would need some substantial prrof to this claim. not a bunch of info that we all know and from the looks of it an "assumption" that Zion is a MIAM.
If your friend is telling the truth then he has just confirmed the, now ledgendary, MAIM theory!

Flow, MIAM was around before this forum was even made, becuase it was around before M2 was even named Reloaded. I remember hearing about it when M1 came out.

For one, i definitely agrees with the fact that Zion is just another form of Matrix,..or program,... Coz theres no way Neo can wave his hand and made the sentinels fall like flies if it were the REAL world....

This is my theory:
A part of Smith is in Neo and viseversa. So a part of the matrix is in Neo and Bane/Smith. The Sentinals crashed because they recognised a part of the matrix/the machines in Neo, and cannot attack themselfes and therefor conflicted and died.
