What if....?

What if sometime in the furture machines reall do take over and the matrix is created what would you think about that. i mean its lickley to happen isnt the human races tecknology doubles every five years. so really i dont know why someoen wouldnt be able to make the matrix. it would be just like a virtual realaity wouldnt it.

If one believes that could happen, one could just as well ask what makes you think it hasn't already happened?;)

thats a good point and i wopuldnt realy doubt it if it has already happened how do we know that the real Neo or whatever his name be didnt tell somoen about it and they wrote a script for. i never thought of that. good thinkin.

What did it for you (all reading). For me it was the explanation for dejavu.

I think the machines have already taken over....It explains all the weird things that happen in the world, why people just "disappear" sometimes, so-called U.F.Os (it's the Matrix, it could be anything)...and I believe that we're all stuck in it...

I know lots of people disagree about this, but I sincerely believe it, no matter how psycho I seem. :)

Unfortunatley. there is a Matrix, I have some small facts that may prove my theory.

1)Since I have seen the matrix I have had increased Deja Vu.

2)Without thinking I am able to stop breathing for long periods of time.

3)Without thinking I am able to perform tasks such as defying a degree of gravity, faster reaction time, and to defy sensations in my mind of pain.

4How could a movie like the Matrix be made without basing it on a concept?????

i think that their was a one already, a neo ect and the brothers were in zion-i thik theyv already defeated the a.i and they r waiting 2 free all the people in the matrix but b4 they do they r preparring us 4 it but making these films so the concept wont b 2 out of the ordinary 4 us(i dont reely beleve it but its a cool idea...right...?...work w/ me here lol)

I don't believe that The Matrix exists, yet. I do, however believe that it is possible. I do believe that we have had a Messiah and will have a Messiah again. I also think that if there were a 'Matrix', there would be a human or humans, (such as the government), in control of the machines. I believe that the government has technology far beyond what we are aware of. Time will tell........

it is possible for the the matrix to have already of happened but i seriously doubt it with all of the ideas that u guys have suggested so far i think that the idea o the governmebt having advanced technology that we are not yet aware of is more realistic.

The power of suggestion is a very common premis. and de ja vu has been around forever. The ablity to hold your breath longer is what they teach you in Tai Chi, that's why there is so much Kung foo in the movie.


But the scientific side of me tends to agree with you, and it is amazing to experience de ja vu after watching that film myself.\

"a dejavu is usually a glitch in the Matrix, it happens when they change something" The best part of this movies is that it lets you have an alternate theory. They didn't miss a beat. They already answered all the questions one could come up with. For most that makes it a little scary. For me it's like a braingasm. :D

ya they do answer most of the questi0ons that one could ever have but then loook at these question our fellow members have come up with.

The arguement of whether or not Neo can die or not has yet to be revealed. Been great talking. I have to go see Reloaded now starts at 12:30. Hope I can focus on other things when I get out. :p :p :p :p :p

Why would neo e able to die i mean he can controll everything within the matrix the only way that neo could die is in the real world. but hats only how i feel.

The one thing I keep coming back to in my mind is how much of what I am reading into the movie was the intention of the creators?

I remember seeing postings on various forums about the first movie. Things about the relevence of numerology through out the movie - even the names. morphius - meaning to change things, neo 'new' as well as a anagram, trinity - a reference to the '3' that shows up throughout the movie as well as in conventional christian dogma. There was even some talk about the nature of the name 'Anderson'

One even went so far as to point out that in the first movie when Neo is sitting in the office and the guy is cleaning the windows, he sees the soap running down for just a split second and gets a weird look on his face. the soap running down looked similar to the green numbers seen later representing the data streams in the matrix itself. I can remember seeing this and thinking - what was that look for? And what's up with the squeegy guys? So upon seeing this similarity pointed out, it has to be intentional.

Now the new movie has my head spinning. I saw it this morning and there are so many new concepts thrown around, I am going to be dying to see the conclusion! the possibilities boggle the mind!

Especially the part that the guy keeping the key maker and also Y NEO can fly from here and there just like Superman??

Although i understand the 1st Matrix talking all about but in the reloaded i cannot DIGEST what it going to show us....

Kindly, would someone tell me all about and hope that i will get some responds from U guys.....

I agree Reloaded just grabs you by the throat and pulls you helpless deeper into the Matrix. I don't want to give away anythig to people who have not yet been unplugged, but this *&it gets deep. And that who thing about whether or not Neo's powers only being in the Matrix??????? The KeyMaker and the Oracles Bodyguard. The Twins. The Fight sceen in the Castle. The Flying. The Power-source. What the heck. This movie is not only braingasmic it is orgasmic. And Zion? What is it the city of Sodom? Too much to grab in one viewing. :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

What if Neo's real life is also a matrix, but since he believes he can die in it then, he can. He needs to also believe that he can't die in that world either. The Squiddie thing makes you wonder a little about that, doesn't it? Opens the door for all kinds of new possibilities.

What if there is a Matrix inside the Matrix. I think they were eluding to something of that sort. What if Neo was unplugged from the interal Matrix and is also able to control the external Matrix which is why he is so powerful. The sub plots in this are endless, which by definition means there may not be a traditional end.

What if the wac bro's are reading all this and what if we were actually writing the next Matrix for them?

Since there is a cult following for this story, they could quite possibly use all of this information to continue the story based on what the fans think . Or when they release the Box Set, have alternate endings based on fan input/speculation/ect. That would be the end all be all of interacive entertainment. Kinda like when Stephen Kings goes into chat rooms to talk but you don't know its him. You could be a Wacowski for all I know. If you are?? YOU RULE (lololololololol):D

I think alot of us walk around with these kind of ideas, but dismiss them as daydreams. Because we have to be so responsible for every day events we fall in love with movies like this because they are something like a 2 1/2 hour full color daydream with external sound that other people can see and hell yeah.

I'd hate to think the Wac Bros only did for money!
