How to unplug?

Senai

***IF*** there is a MIAM, how would people ever get out of the one Zion is in? No one could be unplugged from that one, because if they were, i'm sure it would be known by now lol. But if no one were unplugged, who would be there to rebuild the people in the second matrix?

**note** i don't believe in the MIAM theory, just sort of speculating.

Yeah that was one of the question that lingered in my mind a while back. If there's another matrix built around this one, then wouldn't there be people outside of it?

1) if so, why haven't they tried to contact anyone inside one of the 2 matrices
2) if not, then how would someone save himself from the second matrix, and wouldn't there just be a third one around that too? (and a fourth, fifth, etc etc)

If you say that there's only 2 matrices and consider that 1% of the people who don't accept the first get sent to the second one, there's a problem. Since they couldn't make the first matrix perfect, the second one can't be perfect either (if it were, then why not change the first one too and get rid of the outer Zion matrix).

So, if the second Zion matrix isn't perfect, then another 1% would reject it too, 1% from 250.000 people is still 2500. Why hasn't anyone noticed one of these 2500 men/women running around? It's not an amount of people that would be easily missed.

Have you seen one of those story's from the Animatrix about the boy?? He got out himself by substantiating or something. I don't know what is meant by this but the boy got out without help from outside the Matrix.

Yeah, I agree with you on this one, there would have to be multiple Matrixes to contain everyone. The 1% of 1% would (like you say) be 2500, and the fourth would be 25, then the fifth would be 2, then the sixth would be maybe one, so maybe it is designed like that... or maybe not... who knows.

Maybe the whole thing is just a simulation (like I have said before), just an immense program to guage an average humans reaction when put in an incredible situation... not the best theory, but I am just bouncing ideas around here 8)

I have also said that maybe there are no machines in the real world.. Maybe something else is behind everything, and just created the idea of machines in the Matrix to focus the humans' anger onto something other than the "whatevers" (sorry!) and keep them busy fighting a non-existant enemy.

Maybe the whole thing is a dream (as someone said) but I really hope not, and I don't think the W's are bad enough directors to use a lame idea like that.

Maybe Zion is the real world (Gasp: I can't believe I said that!) and all this thinking about MIAM is exactly what the W's want us to do so when they hit us with the truth it will really knock us for six.

Maybe I should have a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich for lunch... oh, wait, this is about the Matrix. Damn.

Sorry to inform you but I advice you to play Enter the Matrix. It explains everything.

The Oracle tells us that Neo is trapped between worlds. He disabled the Sentinels by entering the matrix unplugged.... He has been to the Source (Machine Main frame aka where everything is controlled, so the Sentinels too) and part of his mind probably stays there..

However what I am wondering what happens when thy leave transmitting level and enter Zion... Will Neo die, since he is out of range? would be kind of funny if Trinity and Morpheus would kill the only one who could save them, without even knowing. Untill his heart stopped beating of course :D. I can't wait 'till November...

Played it... finished it...... whats your point?
It doesn't 'explain' anything ... it offers more information that you can use, along with information from the movie, to gather your own opinions on whats going on.

As much as I would like to have some of that too, we only have tasty wheat here :p It's that or a 'simulated toasted sandwich' in the Matrix. Do you want me to ask Link to load the 'tomato toasted sandwich' program into the construct?

Heh, I can see it now, Cooking with Morpheus.
- Morpheus: Welcome to the Matrix cooking show, I am your host for tonight. Let's go meet our contestant:
- Candidate: I know how to make a tomato toasted sandwich *gasp*
- Morpheus: show me...

:D :D
