Merovingian and Neo

Ok I have two different theories, one bigger one and one a bit smaller :D.

lets start with a more simple one:

on the end of reloaded you see this teaser of revolutions, Neo wakes up in that teaser right at the start, but with his matrix clothes on, I think Morpheus and the crew plugged him into the matrix while he was in a coma, and woke up in a subconcious state where he could still do anything, (like kissing trinity in the teaser) Maybe he doesnt wake up at all? (dont like that part tho, but cant recall seeing him awake in the realworld.)

2nd:

Could the merovingian (gonna call him 'mer' now) be a former 'one'? when I watched reloaded for the 2nd time, It suddenly hit me while I watched the kissing scene with Neo and persephony. I think mer was a human once, he was in love with persephony and somehow he got more implemented with the matrix, he became more machine (just like Neo is becoming), he can also control the matrix a bit(check the cake).mer prolly took the same door as neo, since he was in love with persephony, same reason as Neo did because he is in a love with Trinity. he and Neo both took that same door, the other 'ones' didnt, thats why mer and Neo are the only ones left.

persephony to trinity "I envy you, but such things arent meant to last" persephony knows what trinity might be goin through because she experienced the same thing.

and persephony said something about mer like "He used to be different, he was like.....you(looking at Neo)" (she said something like that, dont know full quote).

so that explains it some more, plz share these thoughts :)

I have an idea about your 2nd point. Let's say that The Merovingian was a former 'one' from a past Matrix. We can also assume that Persophone and the Merovingian were in love and he had to make the same choice as Neo in the Architect's room.

Take the line "I envy you, but such things arent meant to last."

I think maybe the MErovingian took the OTHER DOOR. He agreed to free Zion and that is why PErsophone said he USED TO be like Neo. Meaning BEFORE he took the right door, and gave up on LOVE.

Just another angle on the same stuff I guess.

Also, did you know that Persophone kisses 2 more rebels in the Enter the Matrix game (Niobe and Ghost --- at least I know Ghost for sure, and I've seen screencaps of the Niobe kiss) That woman just can't get enough of it!!!

But you have to realize, the Architect even told Neo, all of his predecessors have chosen the other door, the door that leads to the salvation of Zion, and leaves the Matrix running for the good of "everyone" (Namely the Machines.) That is why she might have said Merovingian was once like Neo. But there is also another thing. Merovingian is a program, at least thats my theory, i dont think he is a former one, otherwise, he wouldnt need all of the protection he has, and, for entertainment value, he may have fought Neo. Hes just an exile program. Although, if you're right, he might be a former one, and is an Exile program, that is because he served his purpose, but then, that might be what Neo becomes, an exile, who has served his purpose to the Matrix, but that would only be if he had chosen the other door.

yeah thats true, it's prolly not a right theory.

Thats the conclusion i came to too..

When the Oracle and Neo are talkin in the park, the Oracle says to Neo something like "hes a dangerous program". She is talking about Merovingian so he must be a program.

Perhaps he is similar to the son of the two programs who betrayed the Oracle, and once aided the Rebels, but has now gone exile and enjoys his retirement in a vampire-infested mansion.
