The Matrix Is........

I once said that i will soon tell everybody what the MATRIX really is. Well i can not tell you the truth because nobody knows the truth. If somehow somebody does know the truth then its there problem(yes problem). Nobody knows if it is poosible if people are plugged into the matrix or there is somebody designing the world wich will control our lives. On 12/6/2oo3 my I.T teacher gave this speech in class wich was amazing. He actually believes computers will soon control the world, but i think they all ready are because it is said that our brains will be controled. So all these computers are our brains(no not a computer inside our heads). Computers affect polliticions wich affect us. So really there is no escaping the matrix even if you are set free because the matrix is everywhere.

I'm having a little trouble understanding this. So we are all just little parts of a computer and all of the politicians are also computers? Why this politician theory, and what does it have to do with anything?

Humanity existed before the creation of machines, in every sense of the word machines are our offspring, we conceived them we built them and began their evolution.

Like parents today, offspring develop their own identity (I might add) in spite of our every effort to shape and influence what their choices are and will be.

In this world today it is humanity that chooses to be dependent upon machines and not the other way around. In the matrix world there is AI.

In the context of that reality, events dictate that a co-dependence exist (symbiosis if you will) one cannot exist without the other - perhaps a message for all of humanity that we are inextricably bound to each other in spite of percieved differences

Unlike today when we can choose to switch off the machines and return to "the dark ages" in that world switching off the machines probably means the ened of life for both machines and man since man has effectively destroyed the world.

Consider the conversation in M2 between Neo and the Counsellor in the engineering section in respect of the machines.

This seems to come very close to what the W brothers and the cast of the movies have been hinting at. IF you consider that the people of Zion, if they win the war, will have to live where? ... Deep within the earth, need the earth's core, where it is still warm ... ??? Wow. YIPPIE!! We win, and we get to live in the center of a dead planet. What a victory.

Good point, there. The best solution would be to control the matrix, but, that leaves the possibility, that one day the matrix will turn the table, and control us again.

Listen all, the matrix really exists, but not how you think it does, whether you want it to be or not. It exists in the minds of the weak. The minds of the strong. The matrix is the symbol of life that you accept to be. The matrix is the life that you think you cannot control, fate. Morpheus asked Neo if he believed in fate and Neo said I don't like the idea of not being in control of my life. The choice is up to you if you want to live there.

The Matrix isn't control, because you're in control.

Perhaps I have missed the point being made by the W's and some of you are right that the matrix exists and there is no escaping it...

But is it really important . . . .?

Personally I believe that the presence or absence of the matrix in this world or that is not relevant. What is important is that we continue to try by making choices . . . choices that may be wrong, inefficient, based on emotion rather than logic, but inescapably human . . . and made with the hope that we can make a difference to the furture.

Neo's driving force is that he can change the future. Maybe there is a message from the little boy in Oracle's apartment.

There is no spoon - In essence there is no magic bullet that cures everything, searching for it is an exercise in futility, the future lies in us, we must bend ourselves rather than trying to bend a spoon that does not exist.
