Babies, babies, and more babies

I was wondering if anyone out there wants to tackle this:

So we are told that the Machines 'breed' or 'grow' humans on huge plantations. These babies are then fitted with plugs and connected to the Matrix. How do the machines know which babies go with which humans. And what exactly would be the take on twins, or triplets, etc. How would the Machines breeding ground produce these? How would it produce babies with any resemblence at all to thier parents in the Matrix if their parents ARE NOT their biological parents at all.

Just food for thought for anyone who has the time.

First, who says the machines care if every two people who produce offspring are fitted with their biological child? Also, I think that if the machines wanted to keep everything biologically accurate, they could. Hey, they program a world to enslave the mind! Also, on multipule births, if the zygoyte splits, thats just more batteries to them.

At least that's what I think.

i'm sure the computers would(if there was not way to alter their digital selves which I think there is) undoubtedly take the mothers' and fathers sperm(since they must have something to work with) and simply make the baby and then insert. I'd say that there might be a dely between the making of the baby in the 'real' world and the birth in the matrix. enough time for the baby to be fitted with the holes and inserted.

another idea is that they insert a program into the mother, and then when the baby is ready to be inserted, they are swapped.

I'm sure there are any number of combinations that could be thought of, so I don't think there's anything to worry about lol.

I was beginning to think that no one would respond to this thread. Both of your ideas are sound, and give me at least something else to think about.
