I just watched The 2nd Reneissance 1 & 2 again last night.
This morning I had a thought and it cheesed me off because I don't want the Miam "thing" to happen.
My thought, though, may add fuel to the Miamist's bedpost...or even another notch to their fire....
Some "Realists" have used these 2 animatrix episodes as ammunition in their argument... but... (and as usual, apologies if this isn't an original idea on these forums)...
The history "lesson" is being given by... The Zion Archive...
Now..after taking into account the revelations given by The Architect... I can begrudgingly accept that any data being replayed by the archives *could* be total disinformation.
The whole Matrix universe, in all mediums, could be a big "dot to dot" puzzle that's hinting at the Miam "device" being the outcome.
I sincerly hope not, though....

that might be an explenation. But I agree, so many people have come to the conclusion of a matrix in matrix structure, that it would be a little dissapointing if it were the case in Revolutions. The matrix movies have a way of doing the unexpected, and well it wouldn't be fun if suddenly what we expect would be the case. (the MiaM)

that's it, I'm finding my definitive anti MIAM post and putting it up again.....this just gets more and more ridiculous. As I mentioned, if the MIAM is revealed to be true, I will walk out of the theater and get my money back rather than waste a single second more of my time on such a BS story. Fortunately, all the evidence that there COULD be a MIAM (cause after all, the W's could easily just by lying about everything, Neo's real name is George the Treehopper, Trinity is a Transvestite from Queens, and Morpheus is a truckdriver from Alabama and this is all just some version of the SIMS in 2453 where the SIMs are all playing a game called The Matrix and when they're done go back to their day jobs....could be true couldn't it! whose to say?!?!) is nothing more than that, it could be. You can't disprove what amounts to the same argument as "what if it's all a dream", but you have more than a HUGE amount of evidence that the story arc has no intention of going there and copping out. Just requires a little logic to see it all clearly. Really, only a little bit even.
And trust me, I'm not as bitter as I sound. On first viewing, the MIAM theory is what stood out to me too, but it didn't stand up to a second viewing and some good old fasioned deductive reasoning. Anyways, I'll go find that post, I need to recirculate it. Cause really, it all is just getting too silly.

Matrix in Matrix is not the same as waking up from a dream like how they did it for the show 'Dallas' 20 years ago when JR was shot.
Remember, Morpheus said he wanted Neo to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. Maybe it's deeper than even the teacher thought.
MIAM would not make it a bad movie, but change the focus to getting out of the Zion layer of the matrix. You would still enjoy the movie I am betting.
Note that the movie would be too long for 2.5 hours with MIAM unless there is a seriously powerful being in the matrix willing to help the people exit it - but then how do you instantly free 6 billion people from both matrixes?
But note, no one knows if there are really 6 billion people. For all we know, the people outside of the US are computer generated. Or outside of Chicago for that matter (or whatever town they are basing the movie in).
