The Matrix OST

So, what do you people think about the Matrix official soudntrack?

It kinda odd, I think. It contains songs from genres I don't usually listen to, but when I put the soundtrack into my player, I can listen every song on the disc without getting that "oh my f*cking god" - experience.

I think once you have heard a song in a movie you really like, you can listen to it anytime with no problem at all. :D

Have to say my favorite track so far is P.O.D. - Sleeping Awake. Awesome soundtrack from what i've heard of it so far. Sounds like it will fit the movie very well.

I don't have the CD yet, but I did love all the music in the movie.

I'm not much of a music junkie so I guess that would be my
poor excuse for not having the CD :rolleyes:

Its ok Luc....i dont have the CD either, just downloading stuff as i see it coming out. You should try it, it sounds like the music is promising.

Mag. Since I'm a software geek, I don't believe in downloading
music or software off the net. It's kind of like stealing.

Thats cool i guess, its your style. I only download cuz i dont have a job and i cant afford the CDs....if i could i think i'd download less than i do.

Yeah, soundtrack was okay. I got it, they got their royalties, I don't play it ever.

It's a little off track, but the BEST soundtrack in my opinion is the one for 'Blade' with Wesley Snipes. It is a wide range of genres, mostly techno/trance and it's spectacular...

Anyone with me on that one?

The blade soundtrack was amazing!

Blade = UBER movie, and Blade II was awesome too. Soundtracks fit the movies well. I like the range of genre, though i myself have a taste for Rock and Alternative....

As amazing as Blade was to me (probably top 5 movie on my list), I never went to go see Blade2. It came out, I was working 60 hour weeks and I never got to it.

I will get the DVD one of these days, but I had a feeling it wasn't going to be as good as #1, so I still haven't done it yet.

To keep this thread on target, does anyone know when the Matrix2 soundtrack comes out?

Anyone ever read: "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" If not you really should. Its the book that bladerunner is based on, and its pretty cool.
