Hey in the end of the matrix when neo is reborn as the one notice how he no longer sees a wall as a wall but as the matrix code, jeez that code is bright green he better be carefull of his eyes or he will have to go to specsavers.

haha, well, I think that green text was just a metaphor for his new, deeper understanding of the ways of the matrix.

I doubt he really sees in green ascii text, but I don't know!

guys, he sees the Matrix all green in the end, because he can now see it as it is. in the real way. the way that it has been coded in. notice how Cypher has to continuously monitor the matrix using that huge decoder. neo does not need the decoder.

if u free ur mind(as neo did) then u dont see or feel a wall-u actually see and feel the computer program telling u its a wall
neo being the one has so much power in the matrix he sees the wall as just an object on a porgram, like somethign in a video game....would u consider it reel if u new u were playin the game. would he see people as green code is a good question...any ansewrs?

In a way you bring up a good point but i think that he would get used to it. I mean everybody gets used to things they see after a while.

If he had to fight which is ano duh then he could just read the matrix and do just what he did with agent smith but faster mor precice because he knew what they were gonna do before thy actually did it

If he saw the agents in code then he would be able to fight them better and maybee see their weaknesses clearer

guys....he can never see the matrix as othrs see it nemore. not even if he wants to. he is not an avg guy who has to be inserted and pulled bak frm the matrix. he is like the doorkeepers( the agents) he can enter and leave whenever he wants, he can be newhere in the matrix. he is a virus in the program. and there is no anti-virus for him. he sees the program like it is.

He sees code, because he knows it isn't real, and that code is what it truely is.

Also, he sees numbers, he knows they can be changed, and thats why he can bend the limits of the Matrix. He is able to change such things.

he's not a virus, he's a human... that's the point of him being who he is... is because he isn't part of the system. he sees things in code when it shows his view in the second movie, too... lol -- odd, huh? regardess, i dont think he is a virus in the system, rather than aware on a higher level of the system. if he was a product of the system, i dont htink it would be possible for him to be able take advantage of it like he does... i guess maybe when he enters he becomes ina way a virus like thing... but still... as it says in the movie... he's only a human, and i think anything that can die should be considered that... of course, i may be totally wrong, im new to this, correct me please if im saying anything really ignorant, i want to learn.. im so interested in this...

i think everyone has said a little of the truth here, my thoughts are that he does not necisaraly see things in code like we see him seeing it, but more he sees what a computer sees a program and recognizes it, i don't think he is a virus either, more that he is like everyone else there, a program so to speak but he can change things with more ease than the others and also change somethings. one thing i don't understand tho if someone could inform me is, how can he stop bullets as simple as he does, yet he cant or choses not to stop agents?

he can stop bullets because thats actualy part of the matrix program. the agents aren't part of a comp program think of it as this: neo uses a mouse on a computor to move things (e.g buletts). you can't wack the person ( the agent) siting next to you by moving the mouse, even if they are linked or useing the same computor.
