we know the oracle (gloria foster) is dead. she died before filming revolutions.
and yes, the oracle has been nothing but a guide all along. she's not much help.

Ok let me begin, in the first Matrix, the Oracle told Neo what he wanted to hear. That he wasn't the one.
In Matrix Reloaded she knew he was having dreams, n told him that he now has the vision or the sight, so far she is not hiding anything but u know the Oracle she talks with a twisted tongue.....
Sorry but I have not read Macbeth, but I've been wantin too, so I have no opinion for ur comparision there.....
It seems the Oracle really hasn't been help... everytime Neo goes and sees her something bad always happens afterwards....
Hey, they r in war trying to gain their freedom back, so of course something bad will always happen when u r having conflict with an ENEMY, so expect casualties....
Oh $hit! I just thought of something. The picture with Morph, Seraph, and Trin side by side could mean (this is probably wrong) but Smith could of captured the Oracle. And that's why Seraph is fighting with them. Seraph is the protector of the Oracle... so therefore had to assist Morph and Trin in order to get the Oracle back. Just another thought.
Now that is a good thought, I didn't think about that, good one.
Now a question for u, why u think the Oracle in Revolutions has a different body????(I know the first Oracle past away because of complications of diabetes, may she rest in peace)but in the story line, why the different body???

in enter the matrix(game) Niobe goes to see the oracle and she is a different old black woman. Niobe doesnt reconize her but The Oracle says to trust here even though she has a new face or something similar. I don't know if that is the actress for revolutions or not but the Watchowski Brothers have confirmed that the oracle will be in The Matrix:Revolutions, but in a different form.

The oracle is like a mother figure to the freed humans. I mean, come on, of course Neo can see what's going to happen, but who doesn't need some advise?
Oh, along the lines of parallels (as you metioned about m.Beth and the oracle) If you've ever read about Socrates' life, it is very paralleled to Neo's. I'm reading the book The Matrix and Philosophy. It's VERY interesting. You should all look into it.
