Who is your favorite The Matrix character?

I'd have to say Morpheous, with Agent Smith at a close second.

Actually as typical as it is my favorite character is Neo with Morpheous as the close second

Its a movie coming out in a couple days Directed by Rob Zombie....i think it might be based on a book, but i doubt Rob zombie reads books....

Why are you surprised? I wish this was a series so that each character could have time to show his/her own cool characteristics.

I think that given the time M1 had to work with, the Smith char was the one that did the best.

Neo, trinity, cypher, they all had their baggage.

AGENT SMITH ALL THE WAY! THE VILLAINS ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE "GOOD GUYS." (If you're into labeling characters as such! hehe!) ^_^ Plus he's really a complex character if ya sit down and think about it. (I hate flat characters.) So, I'll say it again: AGENT SMITH! :cool:

Yeah, the characters in leather really bring out the best in them.

I was watching the movie the other day and I just really noticed how cool Morpheus looks in his pimp suit when he's explaining to Neo about the Matrix.

And did you notice how every closeup on the good guys shows how they don't have perfect skin? I thought most movies blend out skin blemishes or scars or whatever.

Agent Smith. A brilliant movie bad guy. Vicious, yet understated. Props to Hugo Weaving.

Trinity. For her special significance spiritually.

Trinity has always been my all time fave...for the longest time, I wanted to be her...I'd wake up first thing in the morning and wish I could wake up free...and be just as cool as her... But Neo is definetly a close second...I used to wish I could be their daugther, Trin and Neo's...wouldn't that be cool? Daughter of the One...I think it would be.

There was a lot to like about each one of these characters. I would love to see a Matrix series much like they did with Stargate, although I am assuming after M3, that may be an impossibility...

Only char that scared me was Switch. i don't know what it was about her, but she was odd...

Apoc would have been cool, had they gave him a few lines.

Agent Smith is my fav. Because he was welL evil as an Agent. But then when he was UNPLUGGED A NEW MAN SO TO SPEEK. He was funny and he made me laugh. Plus it's HUGO WEAVING and he is AWSOME,GREAT ,COOL,BRILLANT. OMG Hugo is just ...... i can't thing of a word to describe how good he is. Every time i see a picture of him or watch him on tv he just brings a smile to my face. :) I think he is brillant and I AM PROUD TO BE A FAN of his. i love him i just think he's great. I can't wait to see him in V For Vendetta he's gonna rock. YOU GO HUGO !!!!

From what i've heard you don't see him in V for Vendetta, if its staying true to the comics then you won't see him.

Seraph is my favourite character in the sequels and possibly the Matrix universe.

All of these characters on this list are great, but Neo would be my favourite in the original.

My explanation is that you follow the character's arc of being an average Joe to being thrown into extraordinary situations, 'down the rabbit hole' so to speak. Neo has character development, you learn as Neo learns.
