The DVD rom on my pc was incorrectly installed and as, when inserted in my standalone DVD player, I was promised the chance to go further down the rabbit hole using a computer DVD-rom, I used the chance to reinstall my computer a) to the get the DVD rom to work b) to access the special computer features.
You can understand my disappointment when I discovered that "going further down the rabbit hole" actually equates to visiting the official matrix website...I was quite annoyed. I CAN VISIT THE BLOODY WEBSITE WITHOUT THE DVD!!
I was expecting a game demo, a wallpaper something exclusive to the DVD! Instead, I got a load of Warner advertisement stuff and a LINK to the official matrix website.
As for the DVD, it was well worth £13 (free poster and card thingies). Excellent videos and some great features BUT (and unlike the film reloaded I might add) the videos did not live up to the hype. In my view, two out of the nine add to the matrix story (albeit with information that is interesting but certainly not essential to the story) and the rest are totally separate apart from a verbal matrix connection. Please don't interpret my comments as hatred mail for the DVD, I really do love it, my comment is that it is not what I was lead to believe it was by other purchasers and the advert for it.
BTW, My favourite part is the final flight of the osiris, special effects and CGI and that will blow your socks off.
