Animatrix shorts part of Matrix concept phase?

Hi all,
I was wondering if these 9 Animatrix shorts were part of the Wachowski brothers' concept work. It seems like these contain some early concepts regarding how the machines look, how people jack into the Matrix, etc.
Watching these a few times helps very much with understanding the movies for me. I can't wait 'til I get to see Reloaded again, this time at IMAX!

I think it is the work of the Wa...the uh...W. brothers (dont know how to spell the name ^_^) look on the back cover i am pretty sure it will say.

I found out for u cuz i am so nice...the Wachowski bros. made Final Flight of the Osiris, The second Renaissance part 1 and 2, and Kid's Story. The rest were other Japanese dudes. ^_^

The movies are thought up by loads of ppl.
