Just saw Reloaded on wednesday, I did enjoy it btw.
I heard alot of angry muffles about the whole rave/sex scene. Is it really that big of a deal? I am just wondering because I have heard alot of angry cries about it.
All Though myself i was very shocked at Trinity and Neo's behavior. I.E: Making out then doing it. It seems Reloaded has attempted to hit the human emotion.

the bit where every1s dancing is to show that humans will live on through the war and that morpheus managed to stop them panicing.
I mean think about it, if 200,000 metal things where hurling towards your city with intent to kill, you'd panic wudnt you? So morpheus stopped them panicing and they are celebrating 100 years of resistance against the machines.
And the sex scene with Neo and Trin????
It's to show that remember:

I was annnoyed with the whole rave/sex scene because really it wasn't needed to go for that long thats all, we already knew how much NEO and Trinity were hanging out to have sex, we don't really need to see it, the same with the whole romantic scene in Lord of the Rings part II, it just slows the whole movie down.
And no matter how hard you try to make Keanu Reeves look human he will always still seem to be a Robot.
in real life or the movie? :p
it didnt need to go on for that long, i agree, but they needed to show that Neo aint just a weapon used by zion

keanu always look like a robot (anyway his acting a bit better than arnold, LOL) in reloaded, neo looks more like a robot! or they are trying to tell that neo is actually a part of the program on another level of matrices? :D
i also think that sex scence is such a waste
without it, it wouldn't effect the story anyway
all im trying to get at is the fact that they want to show that Neo is a human like ne1 else still, with human emotions and human desires (all reflected with trinity) and they want to show that even though he can do all that cool stuff he is still a human like ne1 else plugged into the matrix.
And even if Neo is a robot or a machine, he dont know it (until maybe the end of the movie when he stops the sentinals), and so if he dont know he isnt human, then he will act like he has done the rest of his life b4 he was unplugged.
