Reloaded question

Hi. I'm the new guy. Great site by the way. Ok, in the end of M2 Neo Trinity and gang were running to get away from the Sentinels. Neo turns and says, " wait I feel something". he holds his hand out to stop the freakin' sentinel. So my thinking here is that Neo finally realizes that he is Neo period. Here there everywhere. He doesn't need to plug in to " have his powers" because the Matrix as well as Zion are programs and it doesn't mater where he is.

any thoughts ?

yes, and i believe that Neo still has yet to reach his true potential.

Remember that Morpheus said that when the matrix was "created" (for the fifth time) there was one man who could change anything he wanted, which would be the one. Neo hasn't been able to bend everything in the matrix to his will- yet, and he hasn't fit into the description of his predecessor-yet. Also, he made a different choice than his predecessors, so there's no knowing how far his powers could go. i say this because i think that all the previous ones died after the recreation of the matrix. If he doesn't recreate the matrix, then he won't die after, so will he be able to extend his power further than has ever been seen before?

Yes, I agree. Neo has not yet fully reached his potential. Hopefully he will in M3. If I remember right, Morpheus said that the one could recreate the matrix as he sees fit. Which should mean he can manipulate almost anything in the matrix. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

what happened when agent smith killed that guys and came through the land line when those two guys were coming back to deliver a message from the oracle. I kind of think that smith some how got in that guys head. and is now "possesing that guys, the one with the knife that was approaching neo and got interupted by the guy delivering the spoon to neo for good luck. does anyone know what im talking talking about.

Are you talking about when Agent Smith clones himself in Neo's dream? [The guy that cuts his hand in Zion is Bane... really Agent Smith] Please clarify you're question.:)

I think that when Agent Smith tries cloning Neo, his code was imprinted into Neo.. just like how Neo's was imprinted into Smiths in M1. This allowed Neo to also control machines, becuz Smith is a program.

I wanna know why the operator of that ship didnt do anything to stop the Agent Smith from entering the mind of Bane, i mean, why didnt he just stop from bringing him back to the Real world. He should have been able to see the change in Bane's Code...

The operators don't know what is going on when Agent Smith is cloning himself. If you remember, Link was confused about what was happening with the code while he was watching it. So the operator of the ship may have had no idea of what was going on so he just let Bane back.

Yes, but an operator with such immense skill and training should easily have seen the change, and the exact copy of Smith's code where bane's code should've been.

Yeah I would think so too. Maybe the operator saw that Bane was in a tight situation and just wanted to get him out of there, so in the hurry he overlooked the fact that it was actually Agent Smith.

This is what we call the plot progression. It's a bit of a loop hole, however, it was meant for the plot to advance :)
