does the animatrix suck

Besides, you can download 4 of the episodes from the matrix website and rent the whole thing from blockbuster for a week for a few bucks! It's only 80 minutes or so...

I actually really wanna see that. I love anime and all.

Ok I hired the animatrix and after seeing it I decided to go out and buy which I did.

I hope that is an indication to you to how good it is.

If anyone is interested in the science ficiton side of the Animatrix stories I highly recommend reading stuff by Arthur C Clarke as that is what I was most reminded of when watching some of the animatrix stories

its better then like matrix revisited...best non matrix official movie...u know?

I downloaded a couple of episodes off the net, then some of the others started being shown on late night TV around the release date of M2. Loved those, got the dvd, and have now gotten into anime. w00t.

Definetly worth at least renting if you're a matrix fan.

You HAVE to see the Animatrix, you can get alot more background information about the matrix, it's history, and the final flight of the osiris is the intro for Reloaded and enter the matrix.
I really think that the Animatrix has a story to tell. I just love the 9th and final story... with the robots that turned to the human side, who fought for humans... That really has a sad ending... :'(
