Neo is not the one

Hey, I'm new to the group, but I thought this was interesting so decided to post. I watched the movie twice and The Animatrix, and I think I understand why Neo is not the one anymore, and why he went into a 'Coma'. First, from watching the movie you understand through the conversation with the Architect that Neo is indeed The One, as defined by the Matrix. Another thing to note is that several times throughout the movie he is referred to as 'still' being human. This makes him different. The other one's possibly superceded neo in power, but lost their humanity per se. Also el frenche possibly was also one of the several 'One's', but since he lost his choice, by choosing to reset The Matrix, he just wants to gain power through other means. This is why he speaks of fighting Neo's predecessors. The whole Cause and Effect thing plays into it, and ties to everybody in the Matrix having a purpose. Neo had a purpose as well, as did all the other 'One's'. His job was to reset the Matrix. For if people had a long enough time to ponder, they would realize that they still had no choice, even in going to 'fake' Zion. Once he realized what he was and faced the architect, he actually be thrown into the source to kick start the 'new' Matrix. So essentially, Neo becomes a program. The reason he stopped being 'The One' as defined by the matrix, is because he is no longer fulfulling his purpose as it relates to The Matrix. So now basically he's just an anomoly, not the one. Hmmmm.... food for thought. Now on to the 'coma'. If you watched Animatrix, there was one short with a runner. He was warned not to push himself too hard, or his muscles would burst. As he was running, his leg burst (go figure), but somehow he still continued to run, and as he did this the other runners turned into agents to stop him from waking up (can you see where this is going?). Well, guess what. He woke up because he broke the rules, he stepped out of bounds, and immediatley got put back to sleep. My only question is did he wake up in the fake Matrix. Now on to Neo. When Neo realizes something is different he is able to stop the Sentinels with his hand. He has stepped over his bounds. Neo woke up!

I liked was I was reading up until you stated Merovignian was a previous One. You're forgetting what the Oracle said "He is being held prisoner by a very dangerous program. One of the oldest of us. He is called the Marovingian. And he will not let him go willingly."

Now on to the One. The One isn't the sole carrier of the anomoly. Smith carries it too. Smith, who now possesses Bane, can cause the destruction of Zion with or without the Architect. Not only that, but Smith is behaving like a virus within the Matirx, replicating himself for his own will. The Architect needs to disseminate the anomolous code and reinsert the prime program to make things right again. This would eradicate the Smith-virus. Makes you wonder which side Neo will take in M3. He may end up helping the Architect and the machines, but it is certain that it's up to him exclusively to take out Smith now, and begin the revolution.

I liked the theory that Neos coma is in fact that he woke up. It makes you wonder what the real real world looks like.
