MiaM - MACHINES in a MATRIX?!?!

Hey guys,

I was browsing through some matrix trailers and clips and I came across that Superbowl Trailer for Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.

It has clips from both movies (mainly reloaded) but there was one clip at the very end that really interested me...

It is another one of those Neo-Superman-flying scenes, but it looks like it is from Revolutions because when the camera goes to the back of Neo flying then for just a few frames we can see some hunk of metal/sentinels/machine almost 'chasing' him if you will...

You may have to go to the matrix website and check out the very end of that superbowl trailer to see what I mean. This is very curious considering we have never seen machines/sentinels INSIDE the matrix...so whats up with this??

Any thoughts?

Yeah Matrix.EXE! I thought I was the only one that saw that, and I was just going crazy, but since you saw guess I'm not. Hmmmm wonder how this happen's? Maybe they start making an army of sentinal's , and other machine's program's just like the Agent's, and the Twin's in the Matrix too just to kill Neo, and the crew (mainly Neo though), or maybe Neo is controlling them from the inside to destroy all those Smith's after he learn's the full potential to his own power's, dont know how he would do this.

Niva, you can get it at the matrix website. In that little Matrix Reloaded box, click on the little square for Trailers. Then on the left find the SuperBowl trailer. You can either view the trailer on their website or download it. They have both options in various sizes. I recommend the biggest size if you want to get a good look at that last part.

Just watched it. That clip is just from the end of Reloaded, when Neo is racing to save Trinity. What's chasing him are all the cars and debris he swept up behind him because of his velocity. So no machines in the matrix yet, our little theory brains can go back to sleep

Not so sure about it! both is possible but I think, this is really from Revolutions. When you stop it (at the scene) you should see it.

Funny i don't remember any cars or debris being swept up when neo flys in reloaded...guess i must have missed that, i'll look out for it on imax.

you never know though, do you think the machines could program in a sentinel??

I bet they could...

Its would have to be a car. Cause the matrix is blinding the unsaved people. And in the matrix world its still like only 1999 or 2000 so there wouldn't be any way for a machine like that in the matrix. Cause there machines arent that advanced.

it's the scene where he swoops in and catches Trinity (as already pointed out)

it's simply a bunch of cars, trucks and other bits and pieces that have been caught in his wake.

Chill out man. Ive seen reloaded like 5 times. I know its just cars. And stuff his velocity just picked up.

I just saw it and it's an honest mistake .. besides we are all here trying to find out what happens in Revolutions and it's only normal to make mistakes :) but does are cars

Anybody consider how many pod people Neo has killed on his rapant high speed journey through the city to catch Trinity? :eek:

Surely her life is not worth the 100,000 people or so he must've killed in cars and on the city streets and surrounding buidlings he destroys! :D

Why didn't he stay at high altitude then dive in for the catch... so many innocent lives, why, why? ;)

I sincerely doubt, that in the late late late hours of the night, on a few street blocks of a city inbetween buildings, that 100,000 people were creating the most massive traffic jam in history, with cars stacked 1,000-2,000 high, trying to drive down that one street to get to what? I guess the next bar before last call? Let's not exaggerate. They chose a late night shift change to pull off their operation because they knew it minimalized the risk of civilian casualties. Most of the operations in the Matrix were pulled off at night for that reason. That and when more people are awake, it poses a greater risk. Those cars were mostly empty and parked. I highly doubt that it was the most catastrophic event in the history of the city of who knows where that the Matrix takes place in. Just one of the strangest.

You have to remember something probably does people didn't die .. if so everyone would know that there are some weird things going on in the world.. probably everything is erased by the matrix .. otherwise they would rember does crazy car and guys killing each other
