Do A Search!!!!!!!!

I would request that EVERYONE should research that which they are about to start a new thread.

If you think a thought, chances are that it's probably been thought of before. All that should be done is a simple search. If you do put forth effort to search, and your results yield nothing, say so.

Example:
"I searched but didn't find anything...

[insert thread-starting thoughts here]"

(I, hypocritically, did NOT do a search about that which I am posting because I feel as though even if this has been stated before, iths worth another thread. Be upset if you will, just please search--and post you thoughts on the existing thread)

Generally that's the rule in all forums - but given some of the topic and posts I have seen, a large percentage of our viewership is younger than adult.

Good idea, although this forum does realy run on repetition.

i also agree......searching would be much better and as wildcard said most of the users here are say teenagers (i am too :P but i still have a decent clue) :D

I think this is a great concept..if you have any thought on anything i think you should state it. But whatever is cool with you guys is ok...lol...Ill shut up now...

Use more descriptive thread titles people!

I hate titles like "what if" or "What is"

i agree, but... when threads get really long people tend to not look through the whole thing so sometimes its good to have a new thread about the topic :)

Theoretically people get a really great idea and post immediatly.
They have something that they have just thought of and dismiss it in their heads as reppetion, that it is their idea.

And it is good to re-hash old ground. I love hearing the physic threads in here because there damn good with slightly different views. And it's extremely interesting to hear their thoughts.

Yeah, but seeing threads that like 'what happened?????' and 'WTF HOWS IS THAT POSSIBLE w00T!!' talking about things long discussed doesn't really 'incite' me to post a proper (but repetetive) reply :p
