Matrix Prequal?

To be honest after Watching the Animatrix I dont see a reason to make a Matrix prequal. I can see spinoffs being a great idea but if they keep on with Neo and crew its gonna be a burnout.

I agree, there shouldnt realy be a prequal.

i rekon a prequel would be good.....for example fill in the details of the neb. before they find neo and like perhaps half the people of their crew :) would give much more story as well knowing what the W. bros are like

I dont think that there is any need for us to know the history of the Neb.

I agree I see no point in knowing about the Neb or its crew for that matter. Points like that can be easily addressed with comic book adaptions or books. I will agree there are many questions to be answered but there are so many even 20 new movies wouldnt do much cause then someone would want the history of the history of the history type sh'it.

Yea there is no point in a prequal...The matrix is a bout a guy named Neo...Why do we want to make anothe series...I mean yea itd be based off of the matrix...but the w bros.. would have to start a whole new concept which i dont think they are prepared for.. i dont think the public would actaully put money and time into a movie about the past... I dont know...Juat a thought..

not only that, but we already know what happens in the past. it happens the same way 5 other times. i agree no need for a prequel

It could be quite cool to see how Morpheus comes to be outside the Matrix.

I'd also like to know what the rest of the world looks like...

I think a prequel would be awesome!

The Renaissance movies were ok, but to see the story unfold in full cinematography would make Animatrix look like a high school project. Imagine starting off just after the machines made claim to their own territory and taking the story all the way up to the construction of the first Matrix. I'd pay to see it :)

no no no prequal idea should stay binned...otherwise the whole Matrix thing could be in danger of being diluted.

I'm not sure what they would put in that prequel? Is there anything between the Second Renaissance Part 1 & 2 and the first Matrix movie that can be used in a 2 hour movie?

I wouldn't know... I haven't seen Animatrix yet.

I don't know about you, but I'd like to see a prequil of Matricualted turned into a TV series. Explore the world outside of the matrix. I think that would be cool.

It would be cool to see what happened when the first Neo broke out of the Matrix. Ya know. Like how he first got out to "free the first of us". Ya know. :confused: Don't act like I'm the only one who has wondered about these things. For the record I have not seen the Animatrix.

It'd be the only way i would want to see the matrix in a prequal..
