Thoughts regaurding the above image:

----

1. The Architect is watching his screens in this case because of the fact that its Thomas A. Anderson. Not Neo. The Architect knows that whom we know as Neo, is to become Neo, in the near future. He is watching these monitors to realize what Neo's choices, that he makes without interuption by The Oracle, and the rest of the crew he encounters through out his journey.

2. Because of the fact that the Architect watches Neo through these monitors we can assume that The Architect is, a God, of The Matrix, regaurding certian limitations: Choice, and ability to have Free Will.

3. Without e/affecting these two things The Architect, cannot control anyones life from within The Matrix, he has no power over the standard people until The Ultimate Restart ( TUR ), comes. When TUR, comes, He will have ultimate control over The Matrix once again.

Thoughts regaurding TUR.
----

4. TUR, The Ultimate Restart, has been now theoretically imbedded into my brain as The Apocalypse, and Armageddon of The Bible's scale.

5. Have I gone too far into reading the book to parallel, The Matrix, with Armaggeddon? Certianly not, heres why: The coming of Good, and Evil. Neo's resurection is not all unlike Christ's. The second coming of Neo... should ring some bells with those whom are Christian around here. The Battle, between Good and Evil: Smith, Neo, Matrix Revolutions.

6. Matrix Revolutions. Interesting title isn't it? It could of been Matrix Revelations.... which is only a few characters off of the intended message I'm delivering here. I have only found one of the Four Horses of the Apocolypse so far, its the ever prevolent Cypher, but the more and more I think about it, Smith's other Agents, Agent Brown, and the other Agent, ( whos name escapes me at the moment.. ) and Smith himself, could very well be the Four Horses of the Apocolypse. The Architect is the God of the Matrix, his having a Neo, eqivicates the Loss of Control through out The Matrix.

7. Neo is just a messenger delivering The Message to those that are "Freed", ie: Accept his word and become those who are part of the Zion Reconstruction, the Rebirth, and TUR, of The Matrix.

i hink that neo doesn't really know what he is, or what he's
suppose to do yet. he's always "confused" and "spaced out",
seeking guidence from Morpheus, the oracle, etc.

your comments give a lot to think about, but that was my
initial reaction after reading #1 and the rest.
NEOsporin

you are probably right about all of this, escpecially talking about the part when the arch is watching mr.anderson.

They're all very interesting points, very deep.

Personally, I think the monitors were included just to make watching the first film more pleasurable after seeing the second. I think the closest point that you mentioned was the 'god-like' resemblance. God-Like, in that the monitor scene shows that the Architect is omni present (or at least where ever there's a security camera;)).

Just posted a looong theory of myself. Please read it, but I believe the TUR as you call is not an armageddon - but a way to finetune the registry of feelings in Neo and possibly also the others.
There is no real battle between good and evil, its a setup to test the "humans" within matrix and zion. Please read my post and you *may* understand what I am trying to say...

mmmmmmmm very intersting. The ultimate restart. Firstly, the archictect is the Ai itself so if he's god X, then why does he need to watch the monitors.

The definition of God means his limitations are boundless and that only he has the option of when the Apocolypse will come.

Just clarify that for me X if I read it wrong.

Thanks
