After Neo too control or whatever of those robots, he blacked out.
i duno why, but when he gathers his strengh back again (in the next movie) he will destroy the whole army and all the robots but himself will die to. that is the theory i believe. that mean he wud have to sacrafice himself in order to save ZION. and trinity dies with him also. ithink. i read a few articles by doing my thing but the theory i beblieve shut be true
i think that the robots werent blasted by him, i think that a nearby ship did it. may b they saw the exploision and came to investigate and then blasted them with the emp, i dont think neo can use his powers in the real world.
1) Why would only Neo go into a Coma, not Trinity, Morpheus, or Link though?
2)Why would an EMP put NEO in a coma from that range when a one was detonated in M1 at a much closer range and DIDN'T physically harm anyone?
3)Why would anyone, with several metallic killing machines racing straight at you at top speed, feel confident enough in their change to stop, say "something's different, I can feel them", and put out their hand to stop them?
4)Neo isn't using his powers in the real world, he merely has a wireless connection with the machines now. Much as when Smith wrote his code over Bane and was able to transfer his programming over Bane in the real world, when Neo received the code to reboot the Matrix, most likely occuring when he stepped throught the door of light, it also altered how his mind behaves in the real world, connecting new neural pathways that give him his new connection with the machines.
Maybe Neo is just one of the machines and was affected by the EMP...Maybe Neo is just a rogue program that was meant to capture Morpheus and Trinity...

Maybe the real world is part of the matrix, a buffer for humans that can't accept the 'normal' world of the matrix. What did the humans do to scorch the skies for such a long period? The 'real world' has been set up to make sense to those who can't make sense of the matrix world and who rebel against it.
that sounds alot like the onion marix theory, matrix in a matrix.
the "matrix" as they think of it, is not the real matrix. they are still plugged in, wich they think they have set there mind frees but they have only taken the first step.

U know wwhen NEO wanted to see the oracle, there was that guy and it lookked like he was as good as him but he was a prograqm, maybe NEo is a PRogram like the oracle,
and he made a connection wit the 2 sentinels and felt them and destroyed them, no ship cud don that because they fell limp to the floor and there was no ship near, i saw that movie alotta times
