Nothing so far is real!

I have read several posting discussing the matrix within the matrix senerio and if this is true. Of course it is! It is made VERY clear in the last 20+ minutes of the film. These are the key points (I would love to entertain questions, comments and/or suggestions reguariding this topic):

1) " Zion has been distroyed 6 times" -- the creator --- The quote goes something like that 5 or 6 or 7? For it to be distroyed more than once and the inhabitants to not know indicates that it is a construct.

2) Neo can effect the SENTINALS in the suppossed real world.

3) It makes sense -- it is a fairly obvious plot twist -- Nothing we have ssen thusfar has been the "REAL" world.

WE do not even know if the world is truly distroyed and a wasteland nor if machines control the surface and underworld(s). This is all a construct to kkep the truth from being manifest.


What is the truth? This part is only congunture the above section is fact.

My opinion:

The world is bright and shineyand funtioning fine -- this is a small eqpirement conducted on a fairly small scale from a VR machine within a univerity or mad scientists lab -- the test subjects are either voluntary or captured to preform some form of psychological testing.

Look deeper, there's a lot more going on in the ending of Reloaded than the MIAM theory. I honestly thought that was true on my first viewing, but after reading the architect's speech and seeing the film a second time, I got the much richer, much deeper subtext of what's REALLY going on in these films.

But, I'm bored with repeating myself, so I'll just say we can all wait 'til November to know for sure.

MIAM is bull****.... neo can effect SENTINELS because he has connetion with agent smith. He can effect them through agent smith whos copy is in a human body.

what bout this.......they are still in the matrix. even when they think they are in the real world, the are still plugged in. They are still some how in the matrix but think they are in the real world

wow..i just realized the W bros ****ed something up real bad to make so many people believe there is a MIAM. BULSH*IT! why would the poeple that designed such an elaborate plot ruin it with a ******ed theory like that. PPLAESE SHUT UP WITH THE SIMPLE-MINDED THEORY OF A HALF ASS ATTEMPT AT TRYING TO UNDERSTAND! you have no idea. this is beyond too far. please watch this movie again, so we can all stop posting about the MIAM. thank you.

it gets frustrating after a while doesn't it frost. Every time you turn one of the MIAM believers around, 3 more show up out of the blue to take their place. I'll admit that's what I was leaning towards the first time I saw it, so can cut a little slack sometimes. So all I can reccomed to anyone is read the architects speech for content and see it again with an open mind. THat's what convinced me it wasn't true long before any debates took place on it.

In my humble opinion:

If Zion were part of a matrix (i.e. the Zionites are still plugged in and under the control of the machines), there would be no need to actually dig to Zion and destroy it.

If Zion were part of a matrix then there should be no problem with just letting it grow. They could free as many minds as they liked and it shouldn't matter to the machines because they are still plugged in somewhere, still batteries.


I do find it interesting when Smith mentions that they are only 'apparently' free. This could mean that they are either still plugged in somewhere, or (more likely) he is talking about their fixed fate, unable to make choices for themselves - but only to hang around while the so called choices unfold themselves.

It's very frustrating indeed. I'm a believer in a 'Zion is the real world' theory myself. One of the reasons for this is the fact that you don't build up such a detailed story with explanations of Zion being the real world (see M1) and so much continuity just to flip it all around and go:

HA-HAAA... fooled you guys, everything you saw so far was bullsh*t. They'd have to create a whole new world that exists outside of Zion, they would have to reexplain what happened after the machines took over. And if the machines didn't take over and it was all a fake story, then the animatrix DVD just lost all its credibility too.

Like you said in another thread rodion, the W brothers have gotten a lot of influences and inspiration for japanimation where the technical and possible are combined with the supernatural. Neo stopping the sentinels at the end might not be so far fetched at all.

But, just so you know.. there are still people who don't back the MinM theory :p

OK, for starters I don't believ that there is a MIAM, it is a simplistic and done to death routine in the traditions of the almighty bollocksing-up of Dallas it was all a dream method of making a new story. It will not nor should it be the truth.
However, this notion that Neo can affect the sentinals because of his link with Smith sounds a little dodgy to me. Smith is no longer part of the matrix, he is "free," he cannot call in sentinals nor have any affect on the real world in the way he did in the frist movie. He does of course know all the little secret passageways and hidden regions of the program but he can't link up with the real world as he once could. So my question is, how could Neo do it then? He can't link up through Smith because no such link exists now and if Smith's powers as an agent were transferred to Neo, then surely there would be some conflict of the two codes, the One and the Agent.

I don't think we are overlooking anything because the movie does not give any hints, it poses questions to be answered, so we need to chill out and wait the five months for revolutions to answer all our questions.

please read ALL the posts on this website before posting. It will answer your questions, theories, etc. . .it wastes our time and deters us from focusing on some real genuine theories.

Develop your theories and support them with fact. Give us details instead of speculation. Plain and simple.

I can not think of a clear cut theory as to why neo posseses his powers outside of the matrix because every time one theory builds on me another one puts it down...I suggest that everyone just sit back and relax and wait until november before we all start making false speculations...
