How did the Kid survive the fall,or how was he saved????:confused:

the kid knew the world he was living in was a fake world for sure, and what is the best way to wake up out of a dream that u are aware that u are in? To do somthin dramatic to yourself.

He forced himself out of the matrix. He didnt have to take the red or blue pill.

"you saved yourself kid"-neo/reloaded

The same with the runner, but the kid had no agents to stop him.....
The kid was alone in all this, he escape by himself. The only thing that was pushing him, was the thought of being free. N there came his reality, he escaped the Matrix...

Yes he saved his mind, like Trinity said she didn't think self-substatiation was possible. I understand what that means. What I'm having trouble understanding is how did he end up in the NEBACHANEZZER. Once his body was free where does it go and how does he get rescued? If those pods are flushed and they are free is that in machine world territory? I still don't fully understand how they're freed and how then they get to zion with only ten ships and population of a small country down there. Can somebody elaborate or direct me to a post where I can read more.

So they do tell you how the Kid escaped the matrix in this movie??

eblah2 haven't you watched Matrix 1??? The body gets flushed and then if not picked up by a ship the person pretty much dies cos they have no muscles to work with in the real world.

The only way to get to zion is by being on one of those ships.

The population is not the population of a small country it is the population of a small city (250,000) or large town.

THe amount of minds being freed isn't thousands upon thousands, it is just one here one there, very slow process.

yea , so basically that kid work up before he hit the ground. then his body just disappeared from the matrix. and the ship came to save him without anything to pinpoint that kid's location?

and yea it's amazing how 10 ships could save lots of people. and yea it could've been long long time like Rama said. there are kids born in Zion, so that would explain how there are 250,000 people now.

Well that is just a point of debate that is what is great about science ficiton nothing is clearcut there can be many logical explanations.

We now that NEO was talking to him on the phone so they new where he was in the matrix, but when he didn't hit the ground and didn't die they just located him like they located NEO in M!, by scanning the system and where he might have come from.

in matrix1 neo took the red pill which is part of the tracing program. that's why the ship could find him. trinity & morpheus also talked to neo, still they needed 'red pill' to locate his real body. the human field is so huge and large. hmmm.... may be the only explaination would be neo is 'the one' and he knew! oh this is fun

Well I think they found the Kid the same way they found Neo cause when Neo took the red pill he went into shock from being so cold. So maybe it was the same for the Kid before he hit the ground he went into shock because of fear of not waking up, and dying, and they pinpointed his body, and picked him up before death.

I don't take it as fact that the red pill is a tracing program- I always thought that it just altered the concious state, so that you would wake up from the Matrix.
Everyone is 'plugged in,' so they all should be able to be traced to a location.

I think the Kid (for those still confused this is the story in the Animatrix called 'Kid's Story,' and also the kid in Reloaded who follows Neo around Zion) was able to wake himself up from the Matrix by falling. His body was 'dead' in the Matrix, but when he woke up in the real world, he got flushed out of the pod, and the Neb ship was there to pick him up from the sespool.
When Trinity said she did not think self-substantiation was possible, that is because if you die in the Matrix, you die in the real world. The Kid knew the Matrix was not real- and had such faith in it- that when he died in the Matrix, he did not die in the real world. Pretty unusual.

I think this Kid is going to have a pretty big part in M3.

Makes u think huh.....Wasn't Neo the only one that have died in the Matrix n survived, now there's this kid.
Also remember The One who escaped the Matrix, with no assistance. N now this kid escaped the Matrix with no assistance.....Makes u think huh???????

Makes sense. So that would mean if Zion was around for approx 100 years that means they save about: 7 per day, 48 per week, 192 per month, 2500 per year

I guess someone like Michael Popper would have to establish contact in the matrix first. The more contacts and the more unstable the matrix gets. . .means more people will contact someone in the realworld meaning more free minds. That explains why they saved more minds now that have have in the past 6 years.

What if an airplane crashes in the matrix? Suicides, murders, exploding buidlings, car accidents, death death death. All those bodies are flushed and sit at the bottom.

Remember they r in the Matrix, so what ever happens, like tragedies r programed.
Maybe they needed more power, a shortage happen, or something.........
Now for Michael Popper, I think his story will deepen in Revolutions....

well, in the kids deams, he would fall, and then as soon as he hit the ground he would wake up in the matrix. once he realized what was going on, and he fell and hit the ground, he woke up outside of the matrix, since the matrix was his dream this time. kinda hard to understand.

When a body dies it is flushed out of the pod, then put back into the system by being mulched up and ground up real good and fed back to the living Matricians, thats where the bodies get their nutrients form, the dead ones.

If you played ETM, the (new) Oracle says to Ghost of the special child she had to protect....is it the Kid she is referring to by any chance? since this "self-substantiation" is pretty one in million ability?
