Some Spoilers I have been asked about **spoilers**

Ok, I have gotten some requests and am posting a short list of spoilers from the movie atht should answers some of teh questions.

1. A big part of the movie takes place in Zion and deals with the politics of running the city. We meet many of the other hovercraft captains as well as the main in charge of Zion defense. It just so happens that he does not like Morpheus much and does not believe in Neo as the "one". He also ended up with Morpheus' girl who just so happens to be the Captain of another hovercraft... im sure you can guess who that is.

2. We find out that the Oracle is a "broken" program, one that has lost or terminated its purpose and now more or less wanders the Matrix. The Oracle is one of the oldets programs in the Matrix and has been involved in the struggle for a loong time. There are also others like her, programs that pretty much do their own thing and reside within the Matrix. One of these programs, a very powerful man in the Matrix world, is holding the Keymaker prisoner. He employs bodyguards among whom are the twins and send them to retrieve the Keymaker after Neo, Morpheus and Trinity rescue him.

3. The Twins cannot be hurt while in ghost form but likewise they cannot hurt you.

4. Agent smith was changed by his final meeting with neo in the first movie. He is no longer an agent, has been rejected by the system. He is now a sentient program who's only "purpose" is to destroy neo at any cost. He becomes something along the lines of a virus and can duplicate himself by "infecting" others within the matrix. He can also enter the real world by infecting the projection of a freed mind that has entered the Matrix. he attempts to kill neo in the real world as well.

5. Trinity does die. But then she is returned to life by Neo in a similar way to him being returned in first movie.

6. Neo gains powers in the Real World!

7. BIGGEST SPOILER OF THEM ALL
Neo meets what is the oldest program in the Matrix called the Architect. The Architect is responsible for the creation of teh Matrix and the other forms of it before. He also states that if he is the Father of teh Matrix then the Oracle is the mother. It is also revealed that the entire "The One" prophecy is also something created by the machines to keep the humans under control. They allow the humans the illusion that there is hope and allow Zion to grow and become larger until "The One" is born and goes on to battle the programs and machines. When the "One" gets to the Architect he is given a choice and always chooses the same one, ending up in the destruction of Zion but the continuation of the human race. A certain number of "free" minds is then chosen, put back into Zion and the whole process starts again. Therefore, this entire process has already taken place many times before. I won't try to explain this any more than that as the movie will make everything clear.

Oh wow, you were right, that is the biggest spoiler I've seen yet. I entered this string just to see who had posted on it, and then I saw your message. I really tried my hardest not to read it. But it just pulled me towards it and I couldn't escape!!!! Now I'm kinda sorry I read it, but its ok because nothing could spoil this movie for me. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I just thought of something.......if what you say is true (and i believe you) then the Matrix really is just a loop, over and over, created by the AIs. But if thats true then how will the humans ever defeat the AIs???? They are in complete control of all of this. How is Neo going to stop the loop???

OH, so you know but you just wont tell us??? DAMN YOU!!! LOL, Im so hooked, I HAVE to know what happens!!! But no matter what I say, don't tell me! I want to find out in the movie.

I've heard this and just wanting to get confirmation with Gummy, but does Reloaded end on a major cliff hanger? DON'T WANNA KNOW WHAT IT IS, JUST WONDERING IF IT DOES?

Cliffhanger...

depends on what you consider a cliffhanger.. it does end very abruptly, clearly setting up the next movie. I guess that would make it a cliffhanger of sorts but everyone will have to judge for themselves.

Ok, i just had another idea, gummy, if the AIs know about the people outside the matrix, and it really has happened before, why does Agent Smith want so bad to catch all the people outside the matrix?

i think the fact that it says "TO BE CONTINUED" at the end is enough to call it a cliffhanger..

I'm not so sure neo is in the real world when he kills the sentinals.. whos to say the matrix isnt bigger than we thought? or better -- matrix within a matrix. Right now it appears that the machines have ALL the control and the humans are still wondering wtf is going on.

the way the arcitect lays it out: the humans are allowed to have zion because that is another means of control, he is still working on the perfect matrix and he created the prophecy to send anyone that is able to beat his system back to him so they can assimilate the code and learn how to improve the matrix further.

i could be interperating everything incorrectly, but thats what i got out of the movie, i saw it twice backtoback :D

i guess theaters recieved the movie yesterday, my friend works in a theater, he played the movie 3 times after work, i caught the showing at 10 and again a little after 12 :D

I heard from someone that there's nudity in the movie, is that true? My parent's won't let me see it if there is:(

ugh.. sadly you get a brief glimpse of Neo's butt, nothing from trin.. at all. they lay on eachother naked in one scene for a while, nothing is shown except for some of their implants.

Thats not exactly hardcore nudity.

yeah -- that happened, but it wasnt really an ORGY.. i mean they were beating drums and dancing.. no nudity or EXTREME sexual movements.. neo + trin layed on eachother and kissed -- i mean you could tell they were having sex but it wasnt like UNF UNF UNF OH BABY -- neo gets a flashback during anyhow. the camera focuses on them kissing on eachother and their eyes / implants.. ive seen much worse in pg-13 movies so i dont think you have ANYTHING to worry about. :D

In analyzing the parallels to religion, if Neo is analogous to the Messiah, then by making him just another method of control created by the Architect to give hope to humans, then is the movie making a similar statement about religion in our own society? That religions that involve some sort of Messiah (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) are also created by those in power to control the masses?

as far a cliff hanger, well they do leave you wondering what neo meant when he said 'something has changed' and stops the sentinels in the 'real world' - or was it? Let's hope this doesn't turn into a 3 part version of the 13th floor.

As far as the nudity - yes, he and trinity are nude, yes they do show some breasts amidst the dancing at the gathering. Yes, you are left scratching your head "was that guy boob or girl boob?" lol

and why show it in the first place? It seems the first movie had every scene having a purpose to the telling of the story - I am still wondering if there was a purpose to the whole gathering scene.

As far as the religious overtones, I pondered that too. It seems to me that the furvor of morphius struck me as a means to control the same as the machines. The masses blindly cheering him as he sought to revitalize their faith in the 'prophecies'. Gag me!

Yeah, but the real cliffhanger is when you see that they save the guy that has been "possessed" by Agent Smith and then of course the fact that Neo is unconsious!
