New matrix game..

i know this is a little early for this but has anyone of you herd any talk of a 2nd Matrix game? if so whens it supposed to come out and what is it gonna be called? Enter the Matrix 2 ? :confused:

It is will be named 'Matrix Online' ...the story continues after the movie Matrix Revolutions! It will come out in 2004 and it will go in Beta-testing in 2003...

PS: The game is made by UBI-soft and not by Atari... the game will (Just like Enter the matrix) be directed by the Wachowski Brothers... the makers of The Matrix Trilogy !!!

exactly what he said. Although i do not kow much about this "Matrix Online" rubbish i'm sure the next game will be even more spectacular then the first one!!!!!

I dont think the Matrix online will be good because it has to be played on PC. Most PC games where you have to fight are not good. and since the fact that it is online it means that there has to be more to it

Just because the game is called matrix online, doesnt mean it is for the pc, because it could just be the catchy title, and maybe you can play it online with x-box live or ps2 online.

You can also go online with Cube. On the bottom there are two ports (high speed and modem) but you have to get an adapter first. I am pretty sure the adapter is on sale, I just haven't seen it. Take Phantasy Star ONLINE for instance. It is online, and only for Cube. Cube's gotta be online, you just have to get an adapter.

With a little thinking and technological experience everything is possible... would be a real good oppurtunity to get the Cube-gamers also in to join The Matrix Online ...
I myself, am very enthousiastic about the upcomming game, But I ask myself... where are the other Hardcore-Fans of the Matrix? Because I haven't heard much people talking about it... and I am afraid that much people confuse Matrix Online with Enter The Matrix!!!! :-(

What i am trying to say is that because it is first person view, i dont think the fighting will be good. I mean come on, with first person view you wont be able to see yoursef fighting someone will you? Anyway i aint trying to argue, just asking a question really

You are wrong... the Matrix Online will have a first AND a third-person view ...just like Enter the Matrix!!!

The game looks really good and exciting, but the reason why i aint really looking forward to it is because it is on PC. When you have a control in your hand (PS2 control) it is more easier and you feel more in control. When you are on Pc, its not as good. Someone must agree with me

And I think that the idea of ''Mmm, I think the X-box/Cube/PC is better'' isn't right... it's every one for himself... I played my hole life with a keyboard and a mouse... and it's like a part of my body... I'm following an ICT-school and I personally prefer a PC because it's so complex and you can controll almost everything a PC does... So I dissagree with you... ok i agree with Cyqu b/c with a key board and and mouse that has five buttons to click in the right hands is relatively easy. but lets not blow this out of proportion most online games these days dont have alot of kung fu in them so how hard is it gonna be for the servers to run (lets say 32 online gamers) when in ETM the most players u see at once is 2?

I think that that is a part of trust in the developers of the game, maybe they have developed something that overcomes that kind of problems... maybe a kind of range or something, I don't know... but I'm sure that somehow it's gonna be great... ofcourse the only evidence I have is the trailer of the game and the screenshots... and when I look at the trailer I see that Kung-fu is gonna be great... ofcourse it's only my hope... And I hope I don't hope alone (LOL) !!!???

errrr......look back at my post, remember i said that i am not agreeing with you that its going to be good. I didn't say its going to be rubish did i. Even still before that i said I THINK its not going to be good, i didn't say ITS NOT GOING to be good. Now in most of your posts you are saying that its GOING to be wicked. Do you get me. So therefore its ok for me to say that you dont know if it is going to be good until youve played it.

And I think that talking about what is better, a pc, an Xbox, a playstation, a gamecube ...it isn't going to bring us anywhere, and IF the developers only develop the game for the PC platform, okay, that's sad for many gamers... but that doesn't mean you have to be negative about it because you will not be the first to play it... It takes patience... I'm sure that if they are sure of the success of the game on the PC... they'll start making a version for every platform... Look at the GTA-trilogy (+Vice City) ... from which platform originally came this from?... there you go!

ok well i'm just gonna forget about it now anyway, i think you should too. I mean, the game comes out in 2004, so thats atleast another 6 months, if not that more. So getting this excited is just going to make it worse cause youve got quite a while to wait. Then again its up to u, i just aint gonna bother with this any more anyway
