phones

wen people r in the matrix they need phones or hardlines 2 leaave...however...in training programs they can just b taken out...any1 know the difference???

Yeah, sure....

While in the 'Construct', their 'mind' is still on the ship, and the operator has direct control over it.

While in the Matrix, the 'mind(s)' have to be broadcast out and they are sent into the Matrix. So when they want to get back, they need some kind of locator :) (That's what I think anyway :p)

But does anyone know why they suddenly have these silly new phones? I thought the originals looked much cooler....

yeah like you said.....the programs they 'log' into are like games and they can just....log out if they need. Just press exit if you think. But in the matrix itself, it's a program by the computers so not as simple and they have less control over it. I think the phones are a cool idea cos they are the main way of communation. It would look a little weird for example if they logged onto the web and got sucked into the computer. Although I do think they should have funkier phones they have to use to leave. A kind of glitch in the system...........or are there already too many glitches?
