Johnny Mnemonic

Any of you fans of this movie? Its kinda cool how Keanus role in JM is indirectly related to his role in The Matrix...just thought id bring that up i love both movies but of course the Matrix is the best of the two

Even though the movie was kicked to the ground by critics and the William Gibson short story is much better, i liked that movie a lot. The hightech is pretty cool :) They could have left out Ice-T though. Henry Rollins I can understand, the guy isn't all that bad an actor. But Ice-T couldn't even act his way out of an burning house.

Yes Ice-T shouldnt be in any movies or songs or tv shows...hes about ignorant...I thought it was cool in JM they talk about agents and uploading and downloading **** to his brain...ive never read the short story ill have to check it out. Oh but the Laser whips are damn cool

That fingertip laser is da sh*t. I so loved that effect!

Yup not bad effects but the whole 80s look at the future is poopy...

The movie is about Johny Mnemonic (played by Keanu Reeves) who is a data courier. He carries data around in his brain from one location to another. Much like you have those bike couriers in New York who bring stuff across town. One day he accepts to deliver some data, but he exceeds the maximum amount of storage space in his head and things go bad from there.

Like I said before, not as good as the book by William Gibson it was based on (it has a more commercialised ending), but still a nice movie if you're feeling bored.

5 out of 10..keanu's great 4 neo but we all know hes not exactly the best actor ever...he jus didnt work in the movie
