User danny boy

I was talking to danny boy on MSN messenger, and he said his account was deleted as well as his threads... I was just wondering, what was the reason for this? He has a right to post some critizism...

I don't want to step out of line here, but I would say that its because he's been quite an annoyance to too many people and his Report button got clicked on a few times.

He really rubbed me the wrong way a few days ago when I thought he was a spammer and a troll, but I actually grew to like the guy's posts. Well, except the booger one.

Note that there are 5 mods here, each one with different threshholds on understanding to out of norm post. I guess he crossed someone's threshhold.

Criticism is one thing, but some would take his posts to be trolling, obnoxious, etc.

Can you get his email address and PM it to me please? I would like to talk to him about something.

PS to Smith Squared: This isn't a totalitarian regime here, you don't have to be afraid of stepping out of line. You have to admit that a lot stays posted that wouldn't in many other forums. Problem happens when there's a long pattern of stepping out to where it bothers the majority.

Thanks WC, I just enjoy this forum(minus some of the repetition that occurs) and really don't want to wear out my welcome. So I'm making sure I don't step on any toes.

haha, I know, the repetition does get me down too sometimes. But, we are all educating the masses. :)

i banned him because he was rude.

i asked him to #1, stop swearing, #2 have some respect
for his fellow members, #3, stop making posts that contain

he replied something like this "ok, but i'll do it later"

i was on vacation so i didn't notice how rude this little
kid was to all the other members. when i got back and read
through some of his posts and banned him.

it's important to keep in mind that this is a forum for
everyone, and we have to keep it clean. insults, or rude
behavior (especially to an admin/mod who politely asked
him to stop) is not tolerated.

i have no problem with people asking about such issues, so
don't worry smith :)

tom doesn't post much, but he keeps things in check and
we talk a lot about the issues on this site.

By the way Luc why is Tom never around?
