The Matrix on FOX

Man they messed up big time =) They edited out some of the battle scene between Neo and Smith. The best part of the fight when Noe has his hand in a fist then stretches out his fingers and pokes Smith in the throat was missing. What were they thinking when they cut out that 2 second part of the fight =D

I watched it only to see how bad they shreded it. Here's what they kept and what they pulled out.

KEPT:
Trinity's 'Dodge this'
Killing the swat team

Took out:
Dozer getting killed
The part of the subway fight when Neo repeated what Smith did to him.

Oh well.

Well... u can always watch The Matrix on video or DVD ( if u have 1, no offense given) plus i mean that is what u can expect from the ppl that show any movies on public TV. I mean they have to take some stuff out i mean it is public TV after all...:o

exactly. as good as Fox is, you honestly can't expect them
to show the entire thing, uncut.

i know showtime and hbo cut out some scenes, so it
really doesn't surprise me that public stations like
Fox do as well..

The Matrix is on free-to-air tv here tonight, i hope they don't shred it tooo much like they usually do:(

i no seriously thats the best scene lol.......where he does that kung fu move on agent smith.....i do that to all of my friends now and they get freaked out lol........wut kind of cheap edited copy of the matrix did they buy? seriously....

Seph, my point exactly... The Dozer death scene was no worse than some of the other death scenes.

And Luc, are you serious that HBO and Showtime edited Matrix showings on their channel?? I thought those movies are uncut, unedited.

Yea I have it on DVD but I was too lazy to pull it out to watch so i just watched it on fox for that day =)

i took it to a vhs when it did come on tv.
oh that happines.:D

If you think you are happy now with a vhs version you got off tv, you'll be in heaven with the DVD version. :)

My sister's VCR ate my matrix vhs. Now, today, I go to find my dvd (that i bought to replace the tape) and its mysteriously gone. There are force at work here people.
