just an opinion (NOTHING BAD OF THE MATRIX)

guys, don't you think this is sort of a chat, cause every 30 seconds, someone writes something

sure it is. that's what a discussion board is, a chat where
all posts are logged.

the only difference here is there are different categories, and
the 900+ members can come in whenever they want and
post whatever they want (as long as it's appropriate)
without waiting for others to show up in the "chat room".

i know a webmaster board where there is about 2 posts
every 5 seconds.

any more questions?

I like forums because you can ask a question, come back later and you see 20 people posted and debated about the merits of your question.

OMG I love Linkin Park and Slipknot! lol I used to belong to some music forum that fought all the time like that! It's so pathetic! Why can't people just respect other's opinions! lol Oh well :)
