Old TV Shows

I just got back from college and I have had a lot of time off in the past week. I started watching Night Rider again and man is it corny. I cant believe I use to like this stuff when i was a kid. But also for some strange reason i cant keep from watching it.

Anyone else have any TV shows that they watched as a kid but now cant understand why they liked it?

Knight Rider was great! He was an indestructable car that always seemed to have enemies that almost destroyed it. :)

Airwolf was along the same lines. Liked that show.

A-Team! Not much has to be said about that show, very cool. :cool:

I think those 3 were the trifecta that made up my favorite corny shows.

Hah i cant believe i forgot about the A-Team. Yea that show is the coolest. Ive never heard of Airwolf though. Whats it about?

the simpsons.

it's not that i've changed, and suddenly don't like them,
but the show completely changed.

the jokes in it are pretty crappy. the characters
don't have the "excitement" they once had. seems
like the show is going to crap.

i really started to like futurama, but then they stopped
making it (i did get the first season on dvd)

It was a awesome helicopter with great weapons and armor, piloted by a renegade, that did various missions for a government agency that reported to no one.

It was cool, but thinking back on it now was pretty lame. :)

yeah, Airwolf, A team , knight rider and Mac Guiver (or how ever hes spelled). man that guy could build a Nuklear Bomb with a thread, Toiletpaper and a pencilsharpener :p

I forgot about MacGuiver! He's on Stargate SG-1 now, pretty cool in that show too.

Ok here's my age showing, but these were re-runs.

Time Tunnel, StarTrek, Land of the Giants and I must confess to Gilligans Island.

I was out partying when Knight Rider was on, but I am also gonna admit to loving Murder she wrote. I just wished that I could have a nice house like that and spend the whole day riding novels with no re-payments because my hubby carked it.

The shoe of the 80's has to be Airwolf, the helicopter didn't need a personality to make it cool. It just was , because it kicked everybody's Arse good n proper.

Airwolf had Jan Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine in it, neither of which aspired to any greatness after Airwolf.

well cartoons probably dont count but i luved looney toons wen i was like 4 but now there dumb (im 17)

Omg, i used to watch 21 jump street and Miami Vice. Don't remeber wtf there about but..

Also used to watch A team, KNight Rider, and Airwolf. Those shows were sick back in the day! KNight Rider's car had that red thing in the front that glowed or moved back N forth? And the raido thing inside that could talk to him LoL Brings back memories /sniff

I'm going to have to say Dukes of Hazzard. I think I watched every episode 4 or 5 times. I couldn't get enough of it.

I caught an episode about a year ago channel surfing and couldn't stop watching it.

AC and the gang from Saved by the bell. lol :D

the brady bunch (its so fake!), smurfs, mighty mouse, and i love lucy ^^

I must admit I was (and am) a huge fan of "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," "ALF," "Diffr'nt Strokes," "My Little Ponies" (sorry, but I'm a cartoon fan until I die!), "Smurfs," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (the new stuff is absolute crap), and "Thundercatz," and "Masters of the Universe."
"Rainbow Brite" rocks as well :) They really should bring the old cartoons back and ditch the new trash.

Oh, I'd have to say, Sesame Street, Barney and Friends, and Lamb Chops Play Along. Ahhh, memories.

Damn those days were good.

How could i forget the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, the muppets show, and Yogi Bear! that was a big piece of my child hood...when i stayed up late cuz i couldnt sleep

from what i watched when i whas a kid it whas 90% cartoons. i still like cartoons. but most of what come's now is crap.
the new turtle serie is good but they way they talk, so dramatic that it sickens me
