WildCard When I saw M1, I saw sequel potential but they could have left it just hang too. Did they have sequel in mind right from the start? If so, why did it take 4 years to release M2? -WC- Xehirut They actually started planning M2 right after M1 was done, but because of the intense graphical jobs done in it, it took 4 years to complete.. Am I the only one here who feels like that 4 years just blew by? WildCard Yeah, it's hard to believe that it was the time that people get BS degrees in. Surely doesn't feel like it. -WC- Thecrow Yea i think the time flew by also. Its awesome man =D. Yea one thing i heard is that they developed a new filming technique for this new movie that gets rid of the blur that you see when they do lots of editing and film with a bluescreen then place the background in later. Its supposed to eliminate all traces of editing and digital effects. trinityflame_fv Didn't they film M@ and M# at the same time???? 4years!! WOW!!!! I agree time flies!!!! Zionchild As soon as I heard that there was going to be a sequel (not long after I saw M1) I became very impatient... and the 4 years of waiting for me seemed to take FOREVER! :) B166ER I don't think they shot the first film thinking on the sequels, they had to at least wait to see if it would work. I mean, it's a great screenplay and direction and Joel Silver is a great producer but the Wachowski brothers had directed only one movie before Matrix. And yes 4 years passed considerably fast for... well... 4 years. Luc I think it was announced sometime in mid 2001 but I'm not 100% sure. funkyhorror 4 years:eek: it doesn't feel like it was that long ago! the way i see it... they could have had it all planned out, and made the first one to see how the general public reacted and then went from there... or something... i know what i mean... trinityflame_fv They could not of writen 2 and 3 untill they got the reviews... for the film industry i know they cannot. If I remember it is against SAG. That is if I remember correctly. Irkjuzuga 4 years? ohhoh.. so long time! "en olisi uskonut" trinityflame_fv Originally posted by Irkjuzuga "en olisi uskonut" What does that ^ mean? Irkjuzuga "i wouldt belive it"- or somethig thatway... hey, whats the clock on your time? trinityflame_fv Here in sunny Southern Califorina it is : 11:30 am. Irkjuzuga oh! we got 21:37 pm here in finland! trinityflame_fv 21 30 wow that is so strange Irkjuzuga jeah. weird how the time goes. in winter, it would be dark at 13.00pm. trinityflame_fv what time would the sun rise in the winter? Irkjuzuga 09:30 huh huh. so little sunny time. *lafing to bad english* trinityflame_fv only four hours of sunlight!!! Sounds like fun to me Irkjuzuga blah. sometimes its fun. snow is fun! it can be - 40 degrees here, and snow can be 1m and over... hard work to run.. *heh* trinityflame_fv very true WildCard I don't believe that's the sort of wintery 20 hours of night/day fun she was thinking about... :) -WC- Dawn Well right here in Canada, it's 6:51....usually the sun goes down in the winter at 5:30-ish, but in the summer it's more like 8:30-ish lol :) trinityflame_fv Wildcard.. What kinda nightly fun do you think I am talking about? WildCard Um, the incorrect kind of fun I guess. :) -WC- trinityflame_fv Wildcard... I am 17 . My kinda night fun is walking around with friends wearing all black and scaring people thinking that we are gothic or that we believe that we are vampyres, or we end up watching movies left and right. WildCard Well, then I was right, I shouldn't have assumed I was wrong. :) -WC- trinityflame_fv What did you think the secound time was that I liked have a bit to much fun with guys? WildCard nope, I thought you went around scaring people dressed gothic - which is exactly what you said you do. -WC- trinityflame_fv You dont think I am some kinda weirdo now do you?? :( Irkjuzuga oh. is so ööh... it gets me stressed, because we got here in finland so mutch "wannabegothic" - teen ages. half of them dont even know, what means to be "gothic". Its just "so cool".... blah.. Xehirut Originally posted by trinityflame_fv You dont think I am some kinda weirdo now do you?? :( Trinity, before he has a chance to answer, I thought I may politely remind you that we are all wierdos, I mean, how many people can sit around and just discuss a movie's plot line for hours on end, discuss how Agent Smith's bullets don't reflect Neo as they are shot at him, up until the point of which the bullet hits Neo's upper thighroid area. How many people can openly admit they have a love for a movie that came out 4 years ago...not admit they are wierd.. I my self.. know I am wierd. :) Roughknite i thoust understand thy through truth... Dawn Hey trinityflame_fv I'm weiord too! Me and my friends dress all black sometimes...but once we dressed in these princess dresses and walked down the street, waving at cars like we were the queen! lol Yeah I'm definetly weird... ;) trinityflame_fv Never done the whole princess thing.. i think I will try that. At least nowI know that I am not alone WildCard I agree, we are all freaks in different ways that coincidently also love the Matrix. :) -WC- trinityflame_fv Very true, but what makes us freaks or weridos? What is normal, an agent?? what?? Cypher?? I would hope not. SO why do we say we are strange when we dont really know what is normal?
